Majora's Mask Location Guide + How To Beat 5 Lynels - Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The legendary Majora’s Mask can be acquired here in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And boy is the unlock method fitting of the ancient, cursed mask. Deep underground, the mask is guarded by not one, not two, but FIVE Lynels. That’s right, you need to defeat a Lynel gauntlet, each more powerful than the last, to get your hands on Majora’s Mask. Today, I’ll show you how to do just that, by outlining the location of the Floating Coliseum in the Depths beneath Hyrule where the mask is located, and how to defeat the powerful 5 Lynel Gauntlet you'll face when you get there!
Of course, this is just one of the MANY ways to defeat this gauntlet of Lynels. Tears of the Kingdom encourages experimentation, and the possibilities with Link's abilities are truly endless. I'm simply sharing the solutions that worked for me.

I'm fairly standard fighting lynels. One you have their attacks down, they're not so bad. The only one that gave me trouble was the last one. I recommend attaching a lynel horn (white lynel recommended. ) to a strong weapon and eat a atk up meal. It took me 5 tries dying to figure out how to break its armor fast. Once it's off tho its down hill from there

What's easier is get 5 ancient blades and attach them to arrows. Each ancient blades creates a black hole which sucks the lynels up and they never return. Did this and got the mask unharmed. 😎

I didnt know ancient blades did that, but i was able to beat it & get all the lynel loot 😎

What i do personally is summon all 5 sages, and parry every attack so the sages can hammer him until you can mount and than use my silver lynel saber horn on a 1 hit left royal guards sword and repeat until armored. Armored lynel i just mount mineru and jump off and shoot him with bomb flowers with my savage lynel bow that has 5 shot burst and then do the same thing i did with all the other lynels.Hope this helps!

you actually can use your melee weapons to destroy his armor too, you just need to make sure it’s the right type of weapon. if the weapon is labeled as a pounder, smasher, or hammer in your inventory, regardless of what fuse combination you have, it will do damage to the armor and eventually break it. usually a lot faster than bomb arrows would too.

I knew that this was coming and even after preparing as hard as I could, I came out of that Lynel Marathon with all of my sunny food gone, all of my fairies used, and at one heart remaining. Eventually I managed to cheese the last Lynel by de-agroing it by ascending to the bleachers, equipping the previous Savage Lynel Bow i got from the first Silver Lynel, and then proceeding to drop down and enter Bullet Time to rain Gibdo Bone Arrows until I ran out of Stamina. Rinse and repeat until dead. Easily the most stressful thing I’ve done in Tears of the Kingdom. At that point I was at my last heart and had no fairies left, so one hit meant death. I couldn’t afford to get its attention. I could look at that Lynel funny and it could just eviscerate me right then and there. But if you want to know how I got to that point, I actually used the actual strongest weapon in the game, the Lightscale Trident fused to a Molduga Jaw. Wore the Evil Spirit Armor with it, got wet with Sidon, and then Flurry Rushed the Lynel with it. Then when it got low, I stopped using it unless I shot the Lynel in the face, ran up to its back, and hit it as many times as I could because it didn’t deplete the weapons durability if I did that. Lynel went down. The Bone Proficiency was probably why my Gibdo Bone Arrows hit harder than I thought.

I just did this label fight in under 4 minutes. It's pretty easy.. 2 handed weapons with strong fused combos, spin to win, stay on their butt, crouch if they are swinging a 360 attack, GG.

or you can just lyre them to chambers where they spawn from, use pufshroom and kill them while blind...
