The short story about the loyalist Night Lords who was on mission with the RG was great. They were debating the practical use of terror tactics when Corax killed a bunch of enemy legionaries from the shadows, appeared right in front of them to say hi, then vanished instantly. The Night Lord turned to his squad mates and said "now that was truly terrifying"

He was pressuring the traitors as he thought he had 2 legions with him and 4 more coming so he didn't want the traitors to be able to rest. I think GW made a mistake killing off the mutated Raven Guard. They could have been the Raven Guard's version of the Wolven. Could have done something like the gene sees SOMETIMES mutates you but often doesn't and it's too valuable to dispose of, so they just try to keep it a secret.

The Emperor and Corax to me had a different relationship to pretty much all of his brothers. He saw his father's visage, appearing to him as just a normal man. Corax and the Emperor were more akin to true father and son.

Something to note about Constanix II. Corax altered the void shields of a warlord titan rendering it essentially invisible to sensors and as stealthily as a titan can, walked up and levelled just as much as it could.

Here's some to consider: What if all of the Primarchs (save Alpharius because he landed on Terra) somehow died before the Imperium discovered them? (Assume that Vulkan was never found by the Imperium, maybe he was lost in the Warp, maybe the DE got a hold of him, maybe he’s in Trazyn’s galleries, etc). The important thing is, what if no Primarchs? If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors? What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids? What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes? What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium? What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged? How would each Heresy/Crusade-era Primarch and Legion fare against the modern Tau Empire?
