Midnight Thoughts A late night and I just can't sleep, tossed and turned in my bed, trying to shake the negative thoughts out of my head, contemplating back when I had it all together, back when it all made sense, back to a time when you were here, I remember we would talk about big plans we made, sadly all I have now is myself in the very end, I usually would be sleep at this time of the night, but I just can't seem to get these lonely feelings off my mind, People worry about me but.... I'll be alright, it's been awhile since I saw you at the cafe, not to bother you or anything I just wonder what you've been up to in the meantime, And when I saw you, it was on his arm when you both bought a cappuccino just how you used to...light and sweet with a little foam...I thought I'd forget after all these years, I mean it has been a long while, Yet, to this day you stay on my mind, I try to fill the void, day in and day out trying to find something creative or active to do, but what's the point when you're emotionally drained and everything I work so hard for is so far out of view?
