The tax exemptions is only for certain products, not everything. You can only get tax exemptions on food, beverages, restaurants, children's clothes, certain kids toys, diapers, books, Christmas trees, and gaming consoles. That's it. It doesn't apply to tires.

Ps. You should always have separate rims for your winter tires. Your all seasons and winters should have their own rims. It's cheaper to change from all seasons to winters when they are already on rims. It's only $15/tire when they are already on rims. Plus, you shouldn't have to remove your tires from rims every time you change from summer to winter tires.

Kahapon I checked Facebook market at ang daming winter tires and Kasama na Rin ung Steel wheels para d na papalit palit ung rims. And to my calculations there are so many in marketplace. Yes they are used but totally good for A few years depending on how much there is left. Regarding SA TPMS ...is no big deal dahil most winter tires don't come with those. Pwede Naman e check manually or with a use of tire pressure gauge ($2 Dollarama). Another reason to use Steele wheels is para d mangalawang ung original rims and most importantly is to save money bawat palitan.
