I thought they were brothers since their stage names are Matthew Greywolf and Charles Greywolf, but those are just stage names, trying to pass themselves off as brothers. Charles Greywolf was born David Kiefer and Matthew was born Benjamin Buss. Charles. Is the older of the two and plays strictly rhythm guitar and records the bass in studio. I think they just play the bass recordings live, since there is no bassist on stage. Matthew plays the lead guitar. There are a lot of myths and press released about the band that is actually not true. Attila claims to be Romanian and trained in a musical observatory in Romania, which is just a story. He is actually German and has no formal training in opera or any other vocal style. Attila is an awesome singer though and sings as well, if not better, than many trained vocalists. His operatic voice is not at opera level, of course, but I love the style. The way he goes from a heavily distorted metal voice to a very clean opera voice is unique to him and gives their music a very traditional German sound. Sort of what Richard Wanger may have done if he was metal. Somehow I can imagine Wagner being metal if he were alive today and making similar music.
