Evil Genius isn't seen as a character role, plenty of young dancers do this and Lantratov has danced it many times.

One thing that's amazing about having two male principals in this ballet is being able to see bright young talent dancing with one of the best dancers in the world and seeing the tradition of excellence continue. Lantratov will always be one of the greatest and Mikhalkin is a wonderful new talent!
