go on.. make it all the way up... After I recover from several heart attacks, the runs back down are great. Any skill level can ride North face, it is now the easiest run down. You can ride it slower than me and it's about as tecnical as the track up (uhh not the road that is..) I can rid ok but generally my videos are fairly slow /average so a lot of beginners should be able to get up to some of my riding without difficulty. I CAN ride some black trails (Deliverance/Vertigo etc) but am fairly lazy. This particular run was slower than I normally ride.. but about usual for me if I am tired and it's near the end of the day. For your 1st full ride to the top, I suggest taking North face, then turn LEFT at the end of this video and ride Smokin, then take 'Big Toms wheelie' and finish off on Swigg. (or Lazy Fern if you found North Face was easy). See you at the coal face! (BTW I'm 53 and no E bike if you think age is an issue).

@@TheButlerNZ haha yeah I’m always thinking an E bike would be nice. I know I’ve done swigg and another one. I love riding in welly, some of my fav tracks around (jailbreake, rollercoaster and the jumps on mt vic ) but I find the black tracks are a lot harder then the blacks back home in Roto.

@@tylerpaulmtb1926 If you can ride Jailbrake you will be at home on North Face, Jail is way faster (I have to keep putting the brakes on as I don't like gaps (bad memory of a Trailbike and an impromptu gap... and waiting a month b 4 going to the A&E...))

Love the creative intro and song! Bummer about losing all the tech but looks like a fast flowy fun track. Are you the guy in the front with the yellow helmet? Great ride boys.

I have a lot of fun making the music fit the motion and events... Unfortunately the TV theme gave me a strike and lost my channel chapters for 3 months... North Face is a great ride... I guess now I have to pull finger, join a club, and get a tecnical track made for G4 riders that doesn't include a lot of uphill... (The best we have nearby is a G5 & 6.. and on the hill over, one of my faves... Deliverance (Via another called Mr X)... I've filmed them a couple of times... Very unique tight valley floor. Yup, that's me (and bob on the handlebar.. he's my channel mascot too). I AM a slow rider but this was especially slow as it was my tail cam riders 1st run on the new track and he had contact lens probs at the time. Have yaself a great New Year
