I go with in timeline of the modern warfare games Russia unlike in the real world ended up getting competent leaders and was able to fix its own economy and better train its military to be on par with the USA, and be a decent superpower along side the USA. Basically Russia was somehow able to fix itself to some degree to be an actual threat.

I had the opportunity to do Mountain Warfare training in which we did a cold water dunk. This took place in a (mostly) frozen but running river. I’m on the heavier side so they used people around my weight as the control group which meant we stayed in longer than the lighter guys. It took about 12 minutes for us to get into a pretty serious hypothermic state, so maybe it’s not completely out of the question that he may not have been in a severe hypothermic state within the 2 minutes. He’d definitely have a lot of trouble moving or putting together a sentence though.

Writing is literally so jarring, sometimes being decent like in MW2 between soap and ghost the growing bond and comradery - to the crappy cheesy evil makarov and barkov being evil cos boo Russia bad boo, or farah going from decently written freedomfighter... to downright just a special ops, top dog sniper, tactical leader genius who lives in a Muslim country but allows female fighters and leaders ontop of the removal of the burka (I don't care about religion but cmon, preaching authenticity and you don't even understand women are still oppressed in the middle east fs great writing). Also this game is literally a filler cash grab using reused assets from Mp and war zone dating back to 2019...and it costs £70/100+ depending on version. Anyway..new makarov poo poo.

This is a movie in fact, if you remove all shooting and just keep the dialogues, it is as realist as Hollywood movies ! It use the same codes as blockbuster movies ! (which makes it just as bad, but still fun to watch) The bad thing is to have the bad guy speaking english all the time when speaking to his russian men (20sec in russian)... lol (unless he got the UN of terrorism (people from 203 countries^^) so english is the only language every people in his army can all understand)
