I see alot of people asking what caliber it is. It's 9×18 Makarov. It falls between the 9×18 (luger or parabellem) and .380 ACP (9×17). Don't mix up ammo though. Eventhough it says it 9mm it's not. It's like 9.2mm and that 0.2 differences is huge and could damage your gun (or you) if it manages to chamber. For whatever reasons the Russians didn't want it to be compatible with anything the west was offering. Amazing little guns though. Fun to shoot easy to carry/conceal and has an awesome vibe. Can be very accurate due to its fixed and pinned barrel. Just like the 1911 inspired the Tokarov (I spelled that wrong) this was inspired by the German Walther PPQ.

Скорей всего наш Тульский с ТОЗ, много их через мои руки прошло! И на тестовых отстрелах и на сборке. Ресурс данного пистолета до 50 000 выстрелов, по крайней мере такой у нас был реально , он из первых партий и стрелял довольно неплохо.

Конечно у любой вещи есть ресурс, так как ствол расширяется, нарезы стираются, усталость металла, и никто точно не засекает в армии или на фронте сколько пистолет на стрелял, обычно до 50 000 ни у кого не доходит - это же не автомат, и стреляют с него намного реже. У нас был экспериментальный образец из первой партии для тренировки, отстрела патронов, да и просто пойти в тире пострелять и по нашим приблизительным подсчётам настрел был около 45 - 50 тысяч, но не при точно! Конечно если брать новый и сравнивать с ним по скорости и убойности пули, то я думаю он уже был слабее, и ещё зависит от хранения и ухода, смазки деталей и т.д. Он был в заводских руках и в случае чего его ремонтировали, если что стачивалось или пружина ослабла, но ствол был родной и в цель попадал. Так что после 50.тыс.он будет работать если за ним следить и ремонтировать.

23 года с ПМ служил стране... Простой, надёжный пистолет. В оружейке у нас был 1954 года выпуска, он визуально отличался. Были и 90-х годов выпуска, смотрелись они внешне как дешовка. Самые симпатичные это 60 - 80 годов выпуска. Множество раз стреляли в тире всем подразделением сразу по пять человек и иногда были осечки из за качества патронов, но перекосов и т.п. никогда не видел.

One of the best small frame steel handguns ever made. I personally Love the CZ 83 which is a double stacked and ambidextrious safety version of this. It also has polygonal rifling which is very accurate and easy to clean. Nothing wrong with 9mm Makarov either.

He might've had a soft grip letting the wrist roll. I think it kicks like any other compact 9mm. 9mm Makorov is comparable to 9mm Luger. I used to own one. I ran fairly warm Corbon ammo in it, and yeah, a little snappy.

ПМ не может не понравиться. А когда берёшь его в руки, то отдавать не хочется. Для постоянного ношения не громоздкий. Магазин на 12 патронов надо удлинить на полтора сантиметра и тогда 15 патронов влезут.

@@plf2813 никогда не видел и не слышал о таком. У меня был ПМ с магазином на восемь патронов, а в 2000 г. я впервые держал в руках ПММ. Мне не понравился этот пистолет, обожравшийся анаболиков. Затяжной бой с ним не вести и от басмачей не отстреливаться. Одно время в командировку получил АПС (громоздкий и неудобный в скрытом ношении), но потом, по окончании, вновь вернулся к ПМ. Рукоятка ПМ тоже не блещет эргономичность, но АПС в этом плане ещё хуже.

I have a east German one made in 1960. It still looks new. Paid $179 for it back in 95. Don't know what it's worth now but it shoots great. No malfunctions , ever. It's one gun I will never sell.
