I move to the States 11 years ago and truly, the best asset and what we could offer Filipinos are us ourselves and our hospitality. Closing the gaps between the two which are Income and equality is not an easy task because Filipinos are still subjective in terms of their judgements. We are taught to be reserved at all cost. People need to be educated about defying discrimination against low earner citizens and accepting “the differences” in the society. Rich people always have the edge of getting the best while the poor gets nothing. On the other hand; Gender, sexuality and color are also being discriminated and marginalized in our cruel society.
