Excellent video really....I created an phone case design of a painting of a cat sitting on a chair with a window in the background. I created it through Leonardo Ai and ideogram. The designs don't fit well on the cases. The cat is too big on the case and occupy half the case and the windows too get cropped and appear only partially. What can I do to make the cat smaller in size and windows appear on the case? I tried different sizes like 9:16, 1:1. Thank you so much.

Thanks for this video. You answered some of my questions. On thing I am struggling with the resolution of the design from Midjourney. I tried a bunch of phone cases design just like you demonstrated on the video but when I uploaded it to Printify, they all came back with Low Resolution. My questions is how do you make the resolution to be 300 dpi for Printify or any other acceptable DPI..

My Image doesn't fit well with Editor. how can I do that to print well?
@SantiHustle5 ай бұрын
Hi there! Whenever you want to create an image for a given item, you should check the exact dimensions on your print on demand provider. With those dimensions I calculate the image ratio. For example. 2000px x 1000px is a 2/1 image ratio. And so when I create the image on midjourney I make sure to specify that ratio in the prompt "--ar 2:1". Then, once I have the image from Midjourney i go into Photoshop or Photopea, and create a canvas with the item dimensions (2000px x 1000px). I drop my image on that canvas and then convert it to a smart object. I then fit it to the canvas and export the image with the new dimensions. That's the image that I import on my print on demand provider to create the product! Hope it helps, I'll be glad to give you some extra tips if you need to!

hey bro can you tell me after the designing of the phone case... like how will i do the marketing of that product like on which platforms...!? also is their any subscription charge of printify...!?
@SantiHustle5 ай бұрын
@@ghostcid7030 hey there! You can sell these products on a platform like Etsy, which generates its own traffic and takes care of the marketing. Or you can try creating a Shopify store, but in that case you have to take care of the marketing and directing traffic to your store. The way to do it is through social media. Creating content to showcase your designs and linking that content to your shop. Hope that helps! 🙂

Thank you for bringing up my comment! Another question. 1) Are those AI generated images from Midjourney have any copyright issues 2) Is there way to sell those pictures as digital products, so that a POD seller can directly use that? Thanks
@SantiHustle8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment, it gave me the idea for the video! 🙂 The AI images from Midjourney are completely copyright free as long as they are your own creations and you are operating under a basic license, which is $10 a month. And yes! you can sell them as digital products... in fact I have a video explaining how to do it => kzbin.info/www/bejne/opXcgH2smp53qM0

Do you have to pay for a shopify account in order to use Printify and have to have both?

@@Warrioroffaith11 not at all, you can use Printify for free if you sell on Etsy. If you want to sell on your own website then you’ll have to pay the Shopify subscription but Printify remains free.

yes, printify only charges after the sale is made but once the customer orders the case in Etsy they wouldn't release the fund to you. so you can't pay to printify for that order from that purchased order amount. so you need to have money right ? image if you get 20+ orders once
@SantiHustle7 ай бұрын
You are referring specifically to the very first sale of any brand new shop. Yes, it is wise to set aside a few dollars to cover the very first sales you make until Etsy releases the funds and the ball starts rolling. If you make 20 sales, congratulations! You are off to a great start! 🙂

😂you are saying the revenue but the profit is way low. Printify is taking 20usd for each phone case and people are selling for 26usd. So if you see someone with 2000 revenue it means they only have 456 as profit and this is without the 15% of etsy fees on the total revenue. Etsy fees will be 300usd. So they are actually getting 156 profit in their pocket.
