Instead of aloe vera gel mix it with Vaseline As aloe vera gel gets dry ofter on your lips and Vaseline gives a smooth finish And Vaseline can also applied as a blush

I think it must be refrigerated, because alors gel contains water, so bacteria will grow and spoil the product if not refrigerated or if it doesn't contain a proper preservative.

I am going to try this tomorrow but instead of aloe Vera I shall try ghee. Aloe Vera like I read in the comments is drying and ghee will be perfect in my opinion - it will moisturize , make the texture creamy and there will be no need to refrigerate it either . No concern of it getting spoilt ! :p I feel excited about making this.
