Make a 1.9 TDI Diesel in Automation

In today's video we make a VW TDI 1.9 diesel engine in Automation. I believe it sounds amazing and will be a great addition to any diesel lovers collection.

Well the vw have two diesel engine wo share to sckoda and SEAT and audi the engine is called PD OR VP but that engine have 133hp the name that engine is the PD130 (130hp)

Okay, so I actually have a 1.9 L TDI ALH. This thing sounds very very very bang on! The only issue is the idle is actually around 950 RPM. It doesn’t sound that slow. The videos you should actually sound less like my car than the engine you made. The camera quality in the idle video has some artifacts that makes it sound slightly different. The second video is a tuned car and sound completely different.

i did this in automation and i made every single tdi engine.From this 1.9 tdi if u increase the displacment to around 2000cm³ and raise the cam profile to 55 and the revs to 4500 u get the 2.0 tdi if anyone wants to do it.

Hey, new watcher, and definite subscriber here (youtube recommended you in my home page), i do love watching people create replicas of real life engines. Just a request, could you please try to build a replica of the Ford Australia 4.0L DOHC “Barra” i6, preferably the FG-X Generation turbo one. I actually have the specs somewhere as i had a mate of mine build a “Half-Barra” for a showcase that required a 2.0L or smaller engine, as i don’t own Automation yet. I will go try to find it and put it in the comments. Do you need measurements in metric or imperial units?

The 1.9 tdi has a 1.0 turbo, and the special edition turbo that is the same size but ressists to more power gives the engine 130 hp, the normal ones make aproximatively 100 hp but if you delimit the turbo or the air doesnt go good trough the engine it overrevs and the turbo explodes

He 1.9 was invented by peugeot in 1980 and had 50 hp and a lot of brands bought the engine and dacia and vw ones had 60hp, vw put a small turbo on it now and wrote euro 5 or 6 on it and it polluted euro 1

At low rpms it sounds bang on but once you get to about 3 thousand rpms it starts sounding like a 2005 Subaru impreza

Welp. Mine broke. 100% ignition knocking. Edit: Just dropped compression down to 13.8:1 and it’s working but power and torque are significantly down in comparison. Oh well, it’s going in a fuel economy build anyway.
