I like the blue as it is adds great contrast; I also like the red but I think I would use a different color 3mm bicone surrounding the chaton instead of the red bicone to get the contrast; all in all, if I had to choose one, I would choose the blue in the middle 😀

Your reasoning makes so much sense! With the red chaton perhaps some less transparent or brighter crystals would look better for the contrast 🤔
