Make a Blue Topaz Intertwined Ring: A Silversmithing Tutorial

This tutorial shows how to make a curvy Art Nouveau inspired ring with a prong setting and a Blue Topaz. This is an advanced level project because of some precise soldering. For materials, I used 16 (1.29 mm) and 18 (1.02 mm) gauge sterling round wire. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and My-T-Flux, and on this one I used a little Easy paste solder to add some decoration at the end.

Have you thought about doing close ups? Being new to silversmithing I've watched a million and one KZbin videos. You're my favourite of course but some of the others do super close ups and I've picked up so many tips from them. Then when it comes to refining the piece, I'd really love to see more of you filing and polishing.
