Thanks appreciate the comments. I just tried something different, think it works. It took a bit of time to do the figures but the overall result is there. Doing a few 1:72 kits now for a rest. 🙂

Its surprising what you can make from foam, filler and imagination. I think you could do endless possibilities from it. It took a while to complete, but was really happy with the look of the concrete.👍

Hi, could you explain how you paint the German soldiers ?
@ctscalemodellinguk3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I dont tend to make too many videos about figures. I base them in a German uniform colour either vallejo or tamiya german grey. Then you can either darken the base and paint shadows or cheat and apply a dark grey wash. Then I dry brush the whole figure in the base colour, then lighten the base and paint highlights, tops of creases etc. If you look at my soviet or us marine its that type of process. Its just practice, there are some great figure painters on you tube, I just do what I can. This help?

Pretty damn cool idea for a Diorama, very well executed as well. I won't be copying it but I will certainly be using the idea of it to make my own style diorama. My only gripe would be that the concrete bunker walls were poured concrete into wooden plank forms and the concrete oozed out a bit between the planking forms as opposed to being cut into, otherwise excellent work, look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

im always very interested in heavy gun bunker, sometimes i think, wouldn't it be quite easy for infantry to take out these bunkers from the front because of the relatively big opening and lack of MG for self defense? yes i notice there is one on top and there might be other bunkers covering this bunker...
@ctscalemodellinguk Жыл бұрын
Hi, hope your well, it was just my interpretation from photos etc, I assume the German MG’s covered most areas. Really the bunker measurements were based on a 88mm gun, so the pak is a bit smaller. Cheers for watching.
