My mother & her faith in Jesus made all the difference to me when I was off the rails as a teenager! She continued to pray faithfully for 25yrs & now is seeing what those seeds of prayer & faith have done for the Kingdom (in & through me) ❤️

Faith in Jesus is all I have left. I lost my job over not wanting the jab, now me and my children are suffering we have nowhere to turn. My own church turned against me for not taking it. Saying I can no longer attend mass. Feeling so hopeless. Feeling like I’m the only one fighting against this beast. I’m in the hospital right now. I had an heart attack Thursday night. Unfortunately I lost my medical insurance, due to my job situation. I don’t know how I’m going to make it. Please Jesus hear my prayers.

I lead one of our women's Bible study groups with great pleasure. I also serve with the Compassion team at memorial services at our church. I'm not an official greeter, but I wear my lanyard and greet and invite women to our women's community after services. I love my church.

Thank you for this timely sermon. I know that if people would stop consuming so much media (maybe all media), it would be a lot simpler to exist in society. I haven’t watched the news for 4 years, and besides watching sermons on KZbin, I don’t use social media. I don’t need to expose myself to the news or “stay informed” in order to understand that there is terror everywhere, and that our world, country, state, city, our families and each individual life needs prayer. It’s been this way from the beginning. Our world has become farcical in its leadership the further we’ve drifted from God. Not everyone can see it because of all the shiny distractions. But for those of us who can see it, why would this be a surprise? I remove myself from the confusion of others and look to God as I work with him to resolve the sin in my own life. This allows me to love others on a person by person basis. I’m outside the confines of modern day human angst, mentally. And if I need to take a few blows for that, so be it... my body may suffer, but my mind and heart are free to see God at work, holding things together all around us - even when most of us are making a mess of things. God redeems even our human stupidity, bias, and pride. He shakes it all up with His Holiness and works out our sin for our own good and for the Ultimate good. Anyone wanting to exercise wisdom knows that we have to put the brakes on, scale it back, and be content. If your life is humble and simple consider yourself blessed, not irrelevant. The world is spinning out of control with Satan as the Author of Confusion and Father of Lies. The world is being fashioned to steal joy and drive humanity insane. Don’t allow yourself to be sucked into it. We need to unplug, be extremely selective if we must plug in, and humble ourselves. We aren’t individual brands; we are individual sinners in need of God’s grace. Nothing more. We are nothing without God. Keep looking up and out...
