I have seen many similar videos, but you always add more details and tips. A 10 min video with more tips than other 20 similar videos. Great work

Thanks for the kind words. I am still learning this stuff myself and sometimes it's harder than it should be. I'm trying to help others avoid a few of the headaches I had to go through. But I'm definitely more of an enthusiast than an expert. Glad to help!

Glad this was here, I had to reconfigure my smart plug because I recently changed my wifi names (My router has 2.4ghz and 5ghz and having it use both on one name was causing problems so I separated them and named them respectively... in case anyone was wondering WHY i changed names). I was able to figure out how to connect the plug to new access point but couldn't remember what else needed to be fixed. for some reason my home asst ip changed at some point too (after the access point change... like more than a month after) this video helped me figure out how to update that.

Great videos. I'm starting to get into home automation and I love the content. Wish there was more you have so many cool items on the dashboard would love to see an overview of your home assistant and just other general things your already doing

It's fun stuff. I'm working on new videos. Sorry it's taking so long. lol. A dashboard tour is one of them. nothing spectacular. Just my setup.

Dude just discovered your channel but thanks! Don't worry about green screen issues. The tasmota stuff is what we are here for and its very clear and informative. Keep it up the good work. 👍

I am having Beko Dishwasher with Wifi feature and Homewhiz app to operate remotely the dishwasher. How can i work with Home Assistant ?

Great video! I'd really like to see another video on the specific settings for the sensor ranges. How did you specify that the finished state was (I guess) zero W usage for a specific time period? (ie: not 0 watts between cycles). Thanks!

I followed all your steps but it’s not showing up in home assistant. Does home assistant need to be on an “always-on” device? Right now it’s installed on my QNAP

Can anyone help with this?

my dish washer is actually plugged into a sonoff S31 too. lol. It's the same exact thing. Monitor the power usage and plot out the cycle.

Do you have a website with more details? I'm interested in looking over the entire automation code. Thanks!

How have you done the automatic voice from google home speaker when the washer is finished?
@BauerPowerTech3 жыл бұрын
It's easy. Just add an action calling the tts.google_translate_say service and tell her what to say. Below is my YAML for the washer finished automation. Hope it helps! alias: Washer Finished description: '' trigger: - type: power platform: device device_id: 036eea3eedbe8855304a5e9d71a8e405 entity_id: sensor.washingmachine_energy_power domain: sensor below: 1 for: hours: 0 minutes: 0 seconds: 5 condition: - condition: state entity_id: sensor.washing_machine_state state: Rinse Spin action: - service: mqtt.publish data: topic: washingmachine/state payload: Finished retain: true - service: tts.google_translate_say data: entity_id: media_player.living_room_speaker message: Looks like the washing machine is finished. - repeat: count: '5' sequence: - type: turn_on device_id: 7430420c3d43f6580e6e5f0f8746c0ac entity_id: light.living_room domain: light brightness_pct: 100 - delay: hours: 0 minutes: 0 seconds: 2 milliseconds: 0 - type: turn_off device_id: 7430420c3d43f6580e6e5f0f8746c0ac entity_id: light.living_room domain: light - delay: hours: 0 minutes: 0 seconds: 2 milliseconds: 0 mode: single

6 months since this video was posted, waiting on more, I really like your way of teaching us this stuff. For instace, I'd love a Grafana tutorial.
