Make a hole in object face in Maya

If you want to know how to cut a hole in a face in Maya there's an easier way than using the make hole tool.
The Boolean options of union, difference, and intersection will create a hole while maintaining a smooth face similar to extruding.
All you need to do is create a polygon the shape you want and then use the Boolean options to get the perfect hole.
