Another great video. Thanks! I'm trying to take data from a P&L (in QuickBooks) and turn it into a pivot table. I used Power Query to unpivot but when moving to pivot table, my categories are all in alphabetical order. I can manually move them but looking for a repeatable process. Is using Power Pivot and setting up a category table with the order #s in a second column and then setting up a relationship with the P&L data a viable solution? I tried for a while and couldn't figure it out. I'm looking for the best solution to go from downloaded P&L (Excel) to Pivot tables.

It's good but not great as your timeline is on the Slicer for the Budget vs Actual. Additional clicks are required. if you wanna see the monthly trend throughout the year, clicking on each month is not ideal. So you need Budget/Plan and delta on every month to be displayed for a "Great" dashboard. Thank you again for the video as I learned about Pivot table styling options by duplicating a style. Appreciate all your videos as I am learning new things, you are an excel Magician:)

Kenji bro , when I type the word each time I on the caps key for the first capital letter. Any settings for that. I can't find option in Excel like Ms word.

Ctrl sift + and ctrl + gives the same results i.e. adding rows or columns, so why you prefer ctrl shift + ?

Tips-: ensure auto sort is off, else revenue goes down from the top when refreshing later with new data. Query:- how to calculate Gross margin %. When I use calculated item/field, it gives me Div/0. How to get around it. Same with net profit %
