Hello again! In this video I show you how to make a super simple letter opener using only a utility knife, a hand saw, a piece of maple I found in someones trash, and a little patience.
I made this as a Christmas gift for someone, and so can you!
Here's the link to my Patreon. Help me out peeps!

It's probably due to how anxious he was before he gained enough confidence to show off his awesome weirdness. I'm proud of him for how far he's come to be himself.

That was pretty cool! Mind telling me please what was that weird sanding block thing you used near the end? And also what kinds of sandpaper would be needed cause I have this really cheap-ass sandpaper that's so useless the wood sands off the sandpaper instead of the opposite!! I can't sand anything with it. Guess I just got ripped off
@BobbyDukeArts
@BobbyDukeArts 6 жыл бұрын
+Raphillion the sanding block was just a piece of wood with sandpaper glued to it. I usually just get the most expensive stuff at the Home Improvement store. 3M makes good sandpaper

@steelrarebit7387
@steelrarebit7387 6 жыл бұрын
I can't say what the tools he used, though I can tell you about the mirroring. I call it transference. I'm sure others have different names. You draw one line with a graphite, normal pencil. Make the first image dark. In making the image dark, it's actually a build up of graphite. Fold paper. Then on the backside of the drawn image, you trace the drawn image by pressing down with an edge of some kind. This will push the two pieces of paper together. The excess graphite from the dark image will be pushed onto the plain paper creating a "shadow" image. You can then leave it or darken the secondary side so it matches the original. Used to do this in art class to make drawings symmetrical. Hope that helps.
