SMFH >> your abilities, skill sets, and mastery of so many different processes is amazing. There's a lot of people who can do many things but very few(like you) who can do a project from A~Z ! I do enjoy watching & perhaps you already do this but have you ever considered selling a "Plan" for making a basic boat? Writing it up on how to make the mold, doing all the fiberglass, and finishing the work? A complete plan with measurements & lists of materials that might include any lower cost shortcuts? IDKnow that this would make you money or not but you could add a video for the plans you're selling? I'm just thinking out load b/c I find you an amazing worker( Master) & maybe you make enough money? I'm just wondering why more people do not ask you to do what I'm suggesting? It's just an idea that hit me. Good Luck Captain.... I enjoy watching you do these. Be safe/wise & GB ALL

nice, that supercharger looks like one from a toyota previa. Not sure why you mount it so high, and the engine sits very high, making the boat very top heavy.

Thanks for your comment, I use a belt drive so the engine is high, I will learn from experience and solve it better.

Motor about 4500rpm, I increased the gear ratio to 2:1. 150mm propeller, thank you very much.

@Nasatchannel thank you werry much for you taking time and answer all my questions 🙏🏼😊. I am currently working on a project-boat with jet drive. This boat is 8 meters and have a turbocharged SAAB engine connected to twin Yamaha 1100 WaveRaider jet pumps. I had some issues with the gearing and it was around 1:8, so the engine couldn't rev more than 1500 rpm 😅, this was because the mass was to big aswell (1600kg). Next year i will change gearing for this to about 1:17 and perhaps that will do it.

@@bjornmartinsson3392 Cool. But if you're looking for speed, put a propeller under it instead of a jet. Jets need to suck up the water & then spit it out...a V-drive with a prop is a direct connection to the water which equals straight-up propulsion. When using the exact same motor...there's NO comparison when it comes to the two...prop boats will beat squirt boats hands down EVERY TIME!!! Don't believe me? Just look it up, do some research, you'll see. All the worlds fastest drag boats here in America have propellers underneath them. Jets are for Jaccuzis & hot tubs! Best of luck with the project!

​@@purdyboi807 Yes i know that it is the way to go of you want to chase speed. In my case speed is not the primary, i want a engineering challenge and also a boat without shafts / outboard / outdrive outside of the hull. The case for this is because there is a lot of obstacles in the shallow water near shore. I want to go as shallow as possible and is more of a cruising captain. The question to the creator here was more of an engineering interest 😅.

The boat is quite thin I think. You need to put more fiberglass layer just to makesure the boat doesn't break.

Ohh No Sir, do not get me wrong here.... When I say the things I did about you being a "Master" of many skills, I only meant it in the best way. What I forgot to add was that creating a video over a large project, videoing all of it, and to upload it is also another huge skill that demands respect. I can't do that part either. I merely said this that perhaps you can have more of Your Fruits? I'll watch anyway & maybe you earn enough with youtube & selling the project plus whatever real jobs you do? As I see you work, it's like it's nothing to you = not hard & I was thinking that some others might pay to get some basic measurements/blueprints of a boat or an idea of how to do what you do?
