So glad I found this video! I've made afew for my dog(hes a pit bull) he goes through them pretty quickly lol but with all this extra time with the pandemic going on, I got a bunch of tshirts donated and I'm making a ton of these to take to a local animal shelter. So thank you for this video! Keeps me busy and helps keep the pups entertained lol

Thank you mom! I have braided over half a dozen of these durable, lovable, tugables in the past year, and I am fortunate to have learned from this video. Many thanks!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your expertise in making these dog toys. We've been looking to buy the same type as we had purchased couple years ago from the 99 cents store and no longer can find any in this material. I will definitely use your video and instructions to make a few for our small dogs . Thanks again!

Thanks for the great video. I posted it to my Facebook and asked all of my 600+ friends to go yard-saling and grab all the t-shirts they could get and make toys for dogs in their local shelters!! Here's hoping we get some toys for the pooches!!

Having an idea in my head of what I wanted to make, I figured it would be one of the first few videos to come up.... TWENTY MINUTES LATER, numerous video got my attention and each one robbed me of several seconds of my life. SCROLL, WATCH, QUICKLY SKIP, MAYBE IN THE RELATED VIDEOS.... ALAS!! A very promising thumbnail showing EXACTLY what I had in my head, click... ok! So far so good! I watched the entire video and now my KZbin TUTORIAL JOURNEY is over. Thank you for such a great tutorial!!! ...now, I am off to scavenge every closet in my house for clothes I can cut up!!!

Thanks so much for the super helpful tutorial! The verbal instructions and key written information made it so so easy. I actually just put this video on and followed it start to finish, without pre-viewing beforehand. I definitely picked the right one to just jump into! Thanks again!

How many T-shirts does it take to make one toy?
@catherinemurray41845 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial thanks so much! One question, I don’t see any side seams in your long string at the start, but the loop of t-shirt is created with the two seams down each side, you wouldn’t be able to keep one long string of you cut those off. Am I missing something? My string now has big nobs in it each time the seam comes around 🙄
@momeberhard52655 жыл бұрын
There is no side seam, per say. It is just that each row in interconnected to itself by that final loop. The big nobs you are talking about is from not going around and tightening after each row.
@momeberhard52655 жыл бұрын
Sorry! I re-read your question and realized that your were talking about the side seam of a t-shirt. I do not use t-shirts with side seams. I save those for crocheting rugs. I only use original T Shirts styles without the side seams.

Does anyone know if she has a video for the small dog toy with the loop at the top?
@momeberhard52655 жыл бұрын
I haven 't made a video, but I don't start with a knot, but find the middle of the strands. Fold it over my hand and size a good size loop over my hand. At one end where the loop would start, clamp the strands with string or a giant paper clamp, and do a three strand braid (divide the number of strands by three and braid). Once that braid is made in the center, and it is a comfortable loop around your hand, join the ends and tie a knot, and using all the strands. Then braid like the video shows. I hope I typed that so you can understand.

@@momeberhard5265 yes that makes sense!!! Thank you!
