Did you have to restore the chrome? If so, how did you do it? I had my bike up in the Midwest where it rained and snowed a lot, so the chrome got a little oxidated.

mine was re-chromed and paint (not in the States), if yours is oxidated but not chiped, its ok, just clean/rub it with steel wool 0000 grit, wont scratch the chrome. if is a lot of oxide, u may need to do a vinegar bath and then clean/rub with steel wool 0000, always works :D

keep polishing w mothers.....it takes forever so u might wanna get a dremel.....but after about 20 canisters of mothers, it'll come out. do not use steelwole or any pads. just soft cloth and time
