Thank you buddy! I try to make do with what I have. I’ve been lucky to find a workspace with a knife maker and we share all the equipment which has been a real upgrade for me in most areas.

looks good, nice build, but for a really good carving knife The blade should be thinner!! and the blade should be at least 58 - 60 rockwell!!

What type of steel? Audio didn't hear instructions and tools much to loud for myself aa I have plenty of shop noise so didn't enjoy files grinding sawing noises Didn't learn anything. 😕 disappointed as far learning

Hi John, I try to share the knowledge I acquire with my viewers, this is one of my first videos. Perhaps one of my newer videos will be more informative. As for the the steel, it's GFS O1 steel, a very common oil tool steel. The list of materials is in the description.
