Omg. I just listened to your interview on while she naps and totally fell in love with your story. You have inspired me to start a home sewing biz so I can continue to stay at home with my children.

Great and fun project to add to my away from my sewing machine projects. Like my English Paper Piecing and Yo Yo's that I make when I can't take my machine with me, I'll just hand bast. My granddaughters will love these for their hair. Thanks Vanessa!!

Looking forward to more quick and fun projects to do when I'm away from my sewing machine. Like when I'm at camp with no electricity ☺️ I'm actually thinking of buying a small sewing machine for kids that run on electricity or batteries so when I'm at camp I can still sew small projects. Do you have a personal opinion on those machines and how they work?

Very cute, you said similar to card stock, would you still use your good fabric scissors? A button would be so cute in the center, as a gift bow, or with a felted ball in the center and less elastic as a wrist pincushion. I love pincushions.

+Kiandy Schrock I tried not to spray too much on the ironing board so it didn't get too hard. :)

The Terial Spray washes out but what about rain will it stay stiff after drying?
@TheCraftyGemini8 жыл бұрын
+LaShaun D If it washes out in any form it will lose the body. But I would experiment and maybe try to respray it again and let it dry to re-stiffen it back up.

I believeI have this thing right as of now. I worried about you and your family while Irma was on the ground. Are you and your hubby, kids, animals alright? maybe you could post a phone message or get Jenny to do it for you if you still don't have power. I would just love to hear that you and family are all right. Love your videos. Looking forward to more. Sue.

I made a few fabric flowers for the Greater Lansing Baby Fair using this pattern! So many compliments! :D They were used with the Mom's Bloom "Power of the Flower" campaign to promote awareness and support of Postpartum depression and other perinatal mood disorders. I am attending the Climb Out of the Darkness on June 18th which supports Postpartum Progress and the work they do for maternal mental health. postpartumprogress.org/climb-out-of-the-darkness/cotd-faq/ I was wondering if I could make more flowers and sell them in our fundraising efforts, but I didn't want to cross any legal copyright-infringement laws in the process...to whom should I address this question/concern!? Thanks! :D
