1999 is an expansion released in Update 38.0 (2024-12-13). It comes with a new Quest, "The Hex", in which a group of Protoframes known as the Hex try to locate Dr. Entrati in the city-state of Höllvania in the year of 1999. The expansion was teased during the Whispers in the Walls Quest and TennoCon 2023.

I remember explicitly writing on the forums, when they were debating adding shield gates, that the gates needed a **cooldown** of around 5 seconds or players would just be immortal if they can restore shields. I still can't believe their implementation was so wildly overpowered after years of giving us nothing and letting us get 1 shotted.

1 thing to note toxic will only kill you if you dont react in time, as all dots exept electric, have a 1 sec delay. If you use pillage your essencially immune as pillage cleans status every cast.

It actually doesnt matter if u go range or duration on pilllage as pillage allows u to self cancal get full sheild in emergency. Saying to go low duration and high range will limit peoples opionions on how synergistic pillage is with other frames.

AI voicing changing so much it now sounds like a cold call insurance scam. Had to turn it off. My advice, try showing yoursefl and eiher go back to your original voicing or simply come clean, your losing watchers I myself watched for years, last year barely watched with the last voice change, today after a few minutes I'm wacthing someone else.
