Our town is similar except no cops. We do have Sheriff Deputies near by. Also many small towns, including maybe yours, have natural fortifications. Our town have a limited number of ways in aka chokepoints.

I grew up in a small country town.. And this song is just the truh... it don't fly in our towns.. but dang it... I know also they're a lot of communities in the cities where they take care of their own too... good ppl will stand up for each other and fight against criminals... anyone that says this song is racist is thirsty... this song is about standing up against criminals. and unfortunately, criminals are all around us... and it's not about color... because every race has criminals and no matter what we have to stand up against them. Grew up in a small town in Kentucky. Everyone was family. Smoked my first cigarette when I was 16. When I got home, 6 people had called my mom to tell her. Those were people that loved and cared. Got yelled at. and mom took my car keys. Didn’t happen again. Learned my lesson. People that have watched you grow up, cared about you. They will not let you do wrong. They are cheering for you like you are their child. Thank God I grew up in a small town.

Playing guitar is not just about knowing it is about feeling! I have been playing since I was young and now I am 61 yrs old. It is worth the time and effort because once you got it, it is the most fun you will ever have! Soloing is the bomb! There are lots of free instruction available on youtube. Go for it! It will take time but it is worth it! Don`t ever give up. You will be missing a great time if you do! The guitar offers endless possibilities. It is hard at first, but gets much easier as you go forth and most important is PRATICE. You must want it bad to succeed. It is a lot of time and effort but it is worth it. It is so fun to be able to shred with the best of them!!! You are young so you have the time if you want it. You could be the next badass if you put forth the effort! It only takes about ten yrs to get really good at it. That is nothing. It goes by fast! I would recommend buying a strat with a humbucker in it so you can get the full range of tones. Also they are easy to play and tune. Get a good distortion pedal as well as an EQ. That way you can dial in the sounds you want at low cost. I use a power amp instead of an expensive tube amp. You will need to get a 4/12 cabinet if you want the full tone but get a used one. it is way cheaper. I would recommend a Marshall cab. You can get those cheap used and they sound amazing! Excellent. Good Job. Not just in country small towns. This guy in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, took video of citizens ready to defend the town when they thought a group of violent rioters was going to come to their town. He then put together a video with Jason Aldean's song with his video along side. All races, all ages, the citizens banded together. I hesitate to post the link, but if you ask, I will provide it.

They are just standing there, however, they are pretty much all armed. Hey, that is just the way it is. We were and many communities were.
