I absolutely love your spirit and energy ✨️ I am so glad I found your channel. I am a Gemini that dated an aquarius when we were both 16, 12 years ago. We met when I saw him walking around campus with his guitar. I introduced myself hoping to get to know him and learn guitar. We only dated for about 2 days which was mostly phone calls and playing guitar on the grass. I found out the next day that my family was moving across the US to Hawaii for the next few years. After that, I came back to the US and joined the military and ended up in Japan for the next 3 years. He was no longer in my hometown but had relocated with family a few hours north. I was without a license and often times we would miss each other on and off... over the past decade, we would talk and catch up over the phone and reconnect again and again. Until one day it stopped for a few years.. I was mad and frustrated and confused. But I moved on and wished him well to give myself peace of mind. A year or so ago, I receive a message in my inbox on Facebook where he asks if he could write me a letter. He tells me that he is in army bootcamp and would like to send me something. I was a tad confused but I agreed, unsure what would come of it. I myself was also in the Navy for 10 years so I knew that not everyone has the time they think allotted for personal time both in training and the day to day grind. About a week or two later, I received my first letter. It was an explanation of what all had transpired over our time apart and how foolish he had been. He mentions how he lost his grandmother, been cheated on, used and taken for granted and also that he was sorry. He wrote that he had always thought of me despite whichever relationship he was in and wondered where and how I was. The letter was beautifully hand written in cursive and sincere. It wasn't necessarily overtly emotional, but it was genuine and I could tell that he was apologetic. This being said we both still had not seen each other face to face in over 10 years. I didn't reply.. I was confused and shocked and was either in or about to be in an exclusive relationship. One that was not meant to last for as long as it did. He wrote a few more letters, telling me how he was and stories of anecdotes and thoughts he had while in training. Finally the end of training comes, I still had not sent a letter back and he asks for my cell number so he could call me if I was available. We hadn't spoken by that time in somewhere between 2 or 3 years.. I agreed and nervously awaited his call while seeming cool and carefree. The call was brief and I explained all of what had transpired over the last year and that I had meant to write him back and why I was hesitant with the past and my current present partner. I tell him that my partner finds the letters odd because they're so long but he doesn't mind. The aquarius tells me that he will stop writing letters because he doesn't want to cause any unnecessary friction and was not aware that I was living with my partner at that time. I tell him that I agree that it's probably for the best but admit to being rather begrudging about it. He tells me not to worry and that he would still be there just not as present. He tells me, he hopes im happy but.. my now ex better not mess up. Months go by and the aquarius is now in training in Georgia, oddly enough only about an hour and a half away from me. He tells me that he would love for me to visit but knows my boyfriend would never allow it.. so time passes and I stay in little city in Georgia and he in his. So I double down, until I realize that I am not happy with this person. Not the way I would like to be. I'm constantly settling and caving to his demands for attention, lack of space and concern for the future. A few months go by and I separate from the military and move back home with my dad until I start my next chapter during the holidays this past year. The aquarius happens to be visiting not only his past city hours from me but also the city I am in and he hopes we can meet during his short vacation. I mentioned it to my ex who is absolutely appalled at the idea reminding me that this is someone that probably had other intentions with me both long and short term. He agrees that I can see this person if and only if it is when he is not visiting during his 3 weeks with me.. one night 3 nights before my ex leaves, I make plans and cancel and then make plans again with the aquarius. I tell my ex that I need space and going for a drive after our fight but I would remain in the area. I meet with the aquarius again finally after 12 years at a small ihop at 1 am. We spend hours catching up and I check my phone to see that my ex is not only frantic but having bad thoughts. When my boyfriend and I first started living together he would be in charge of cooking. He's a Leo. He would cook for me and it was very sweet and nice. Aquarius male, your hug at the end of date one I already checkmated... 1st date is an interview basically and I don't even try going home with them and definitely not trying to kiss or anything... you don't do that on interviews... but I do that and tell them that from the time I asked them out so that they don't feel any pressure and feel less anxiety about sex and be more natural and relaxed and enjoy themselves... after date 1, no rules just make up whatever we agree on as adults and have fun...
