Make an easy pin cushion with a vintage cotton reel, some cotton fabric and embroidery thread

This lovely little pin cushion is easy to make and great for beginners and experienced sewers alike. I've used vintage cotton reels but you could use a china teacup, a wooden bowl...see what you have lying around!

Just a suggestion but if you made a hole in the cardboard and pushed a golf tee through it before stitching it to the cushion, it wouldn't need to be glued but could be moved from reel to reel. But really enjoyed watching this gentle video. Thank you.

Love this tutorial. For the glue, I'd use a hot glue gun.
