I had to really experiment with the ingredients to come up with the right recipe for my bath bombs with SLSA and Coco Betanie. All I wanted was for my bombs to float. So really I ended up with using 1/2 tsp of the SLSA and 1/4 tsp of the Coco Betanie to keep them floating. I found that they also helped keep bubbles in the bath when I just used my soap products.

Great videos. Question about measuring though - many bomb recipes call for "cups" vs ouces or grams. And while 1 c of baking soda may weigh 8 oz, 1 c of citric acid may weigh almost 10 ounces. So a basic conversion of 1 c to 8 oz and 1/2 c to 4 oz would give "incorrect" ratios? because it would actually be 8 oz baking soda to 5 oz citric acid (which is not 2:1). Should actual oz weights be used (8:5 oz) or basic conversion weights (8:4oz)?

You have a lot of videos and in these videos you mentions tons of items to add to your bombs for different results. My question is this. Are any of the items you listed, not FDA approved? Throw you into having a Cosmetic License? Do you have a video dedicated more toward ingredients and their details that make legally safe or unsafe for use. Is this just a hobby? Do you sell these... online... farmers markets.... Brick and mortar stores... etc etc.

@CreativeBathLab3 жыл бұрын
Welcome to my channel, so glad to have you! I'm happy my tutorials are helping you, too! Slow foam type as in not doing much? Like just kind of foaming, not really bubbling, fizzing, etc.? Because your recipe has no "foamer" in it, this can only really be from adding wet to dry too fast & having premature reactions take place to where it's a dud when it hits the water OR allowing bomb to sit out too long & soak up humidity, where premature reactions happen again. Your recipe is good, nothing foamy in there so I don't know why else this would be happening.

Thank you so much for your videos. I do have a few questions. I noticed while showing the ingredients in one of your videos it shows Epsom salts but I didn’t see you add it. Do you recommend it!?Also, since you use Polysorbate and Coco Betaine, do they foam and bubble? PS I’m in Louisiana too, I know all too well about the humidity. Lol.

Yes, LA is a hot & humid place. We won’t have power for another 2 weeks since Hurricane Ida so I’ve really been experiencing the hot & humidity on a whole new level! lol. Which video (for the Epsom salts)? Polysorbate is just an emulsifier, so no action there. Coco betaine is a surfactant & a foam booster.

It was in the first part of the Everything You Need to Know video. So, can I not use the Polysorbate and only the Coco Betaine or do they work together?
