Just tried the demo on vocals. Blown away! Was able to dial in a beautiful open soun in seconds....compared it to my SSL channel strip and Neve, and although they too sound good, this had more presence and energy without being harsh. The vocal didn't need a second compressor after in the vocal chain whereas with the SSL and Neve, I always follow it with either an LA2A or CB1 or similar. This worked beautifully on its own and had an openess about it. Immediately in love

Good review Mike as always. I love how this sounds. The compressor on modern mode is amazing and the EQ is super musical. The top end sounds amazing, the mids seem to always add the right amount of energy without sounding harsh, and the I really love how the low band fills out the low end.

did you hear the popping when switching the low eq button??? that's shouldn't be happening.

@@scottellis7573 Actually, I did. And there are some pops that happen when he is not clicking on a control. I can't reproduce that here with the plugin. I am wondering if it was an artifact of the process of recording the video. Have you experienced that with the plugin, because if it is reproducible, we will want to fix it. But we have not been able to reproduce it, nor has it been reported by anyone.

I just used Access Analog for the first time and ive been using the demo of the MBSI plugin and I realized the MBSI plugin sounds like real analog. Lol . Their state space tech magic is a real thing. I don't know of they are using AI.or magic, but its a real thing.

Ive got the Studer 900 Mixing console Plugins with Nebula, and these are similar....One is Studer and this is MCI ......I knew that sound was familar

Checking out the 30 day demo on this.. anyone use their interfaces? Just curious on how the DSP works and if it is only for their own branded plugins? Price point seems similar to price of low end apollo etc.. but my understanding is that their interfaces come with the plugins too? ANyone know how their platform operates?

The Dsp version of Mbsi on Mio isn’t available yet. No need to buy any of the plugins to use the DSP version in MIO

Yeah...I may not get this, I like my Nebula Studer a Little more...sort of has this color but sounds "Slightly Newer"

If Hotel California had been recorded on a Neve console, API or any other console, it would feel the same emotionally. The console's sound imprint is irrelevant to the success of the song. Songwriting, producing, performing makes the %90 of the song, %10 for enginnering(recording, mixing, mastering).
