You guys have a good EF and are making cuts other places so i think yall made the right choice for peter. You can always pull him later if its been a few months and youve changed your mind.

Great job marissa! Now might be a good time to get off your parents phone plan anyway $115 is way too high (even for them to foot the bill) when you can get an unlimited plan for $30 each with any prepaid phone company and its literally the same coverage. Maybe with mint i heard they have a great referral program to earn credits. I personally just switched from Verizon to visible by Verizon and i didn’t even have to reset my voicemail. Again great job. Also let the haters comment it all helps the channel lol😂

I wish you the best, and your cuts seem totally reasonable. I've been subscribed to you for awhile but haven't really watched your channel. I watched your several recent videos and I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I normally wouldn't mention it, but in watching your videos I realized why I didn't watch more regularly. You move your hands a lot and it's very distracting. A lot of it maybe nerves, but you are also touching your face, neck and hair all the time. I'm sure you want to up your viewership and with December being a big ad month you maybe trying to put out more videos and I know it's not the sort of thing that most people wouldn't mention to you. I'm sure I wouldn't be any better at it because I hate being recorded and looking at myself. This isn't meant to be a dump on Marissa comment, but something I picked up that made we want to switch channels. I wish you and your family fortitude to get through this, and to help your KZbin numbers, I'll put up some of your playlists to play while I'm doing something else on my computer.

don't cut your tithing. Give to God first. He will always provide. I know you think that's the first place to cut, but it isn't. I hope you all will keep tithing based off of your income and if or when Jacob receives unemployment. It shows God our faith we have in him and his word. By saying you’re going to stop tithing, it not only mentally puts you in a headspace of not trusting God’s, but tells the unbelievers and people who are questioning their faith they can’t trust his word. I know this an enormously stressful time, but this is how he test us. Do we only have faith that he will show up when things are going good? I don’t want to be judgmental, because I’m not in your shoes. I’m just having a hard to understanding the thought process. With sympathy and love ❤️.

Hebrews 10v24, Proverbs 27v17, Romans 8v9-39, Galatians 6v1. Supporting someone doesn't mean to agree with everything they do. Some of these comments blow my mind. Having been there before myself, I can tell you losing a high paying job when lots of others are losing the same type of job is a lot more scary than losing a run of the mill job. Replacing $800 a week is one thing, replacing 150-200K a yr is completely different especially when what you were doing may not be an option. With that said, as an older person I would just point out that good times never last, but neither do bad times. And you seem to have managed the good times quite well and that will get you through these not so good times. Maybe your husband will quickly get another job. Maybe you'll both get jobs. Who knows? Regardless I'd put money on you coming out of this just fine because you know how to win and winners always end up winning. Good luck to you.

First time seeing your channel. This is why having an Emergency fund is so important. I started late in life post divorce getting out of debt and building an emergency fund my husband and I never had. Being laid off your husband will get unemployment. I don't know where you live or if you have a 15/30 yr mortgage- but that's a lot and understandably something you can't change now. If you anticipate the job loss to be temporary, keep your little boy in his preschool. If you anticipate it being a bit longer to get another comparable job- preschool pmts need to go or be greatly reduced to attend elsewhere. As long as parents such as you are so involved and concerned with his wellbeing and learning- he'll be 💯% okay if he misses some time in preschool. Speaking as a mom of 6.

Drama Mama… why are you watching then? lol he gets 3 weeks of severance pay. And as I’ve shared many times… I know we’re going to be okay. I know there are people who are struggling MUCH more. I’m just sharing my experience if anyone else ends up in the same boat as lots are getting laid off right now. And just because we’ll be okay doesn’t mean we can’t grieve the loss of a job he loved, have some fear or the unknown and the struggle of loss of insurance coverage. You don’t need to watch if this bothers you so much.

@@Mom_of_the_Chickies Your perception of her reaction is subjective, and it's assuming the worst for no reason. Maybe I'm insincere too but I would also be that upset if my family lost our primary source of income.

The Bible tells us to give our first fruits. Tithing is an act of faith. It shows where our trust is. By not giving your tithe you’re essentially saying you don’t trust that God will provide

@@lcn706 Hi Laura, no judgement whatsoever. The Bible tells Christians that tithing produces financial blessing. As a fellow Christian, who truly desires the best for Marissa and her family, I wanted to remind her what the Bible says about tithing (since she is also a Christian). I apologize if my tone seemed judgmental. It was not my intent.

Greetings Shaylin, Hope all is well. Tithing is only when you have income. If there no income you can’t tithe. Otherwise, it would be considered an offering.

So you have to pay god for him to help you? That sounds absolutely ridiculous.
