unlike other fromsoftware games, due to it's "anticheatengine" if the game detects you running anything of that sort it forces you to play offline so you can't get banned, but it is recommended to launch the game, go to settings and switch to offline from there just to be safe@@aspirewot8408

Thanks so much, massive time saver! I always see the big pvp guys rock 5 of each weapon at +25/+10 and seemingly unlimited consumables but no one comes clean about it being cheated, even though we all know it can't possibly be "legit". Seeing sb like you do it is reassuring since I was always afraid of getting banned and ended up no-lifing the game for ages to do my builds in ds3 etc. with this I can finally not be at a disadvantage when pvping without having to waste hundreds of hours making multiple builds, transferring items etc.

There would be much less need for cheat engine if they would let relevant items be sold at a fair price by merchants. I'm still a fairly new player and don't use CE but it's hard to judge once you start playing pvp a bit more seriously.

@@DeebeeHD That's what I am saying, I am totally fine with save manipulation, duping, cheat engine, etc. Obviously don't support actually cheating and giving yourself an edge in pvp, but I like having all options available, I did my first playthrough as completionist, I went to every place possible and got every item I could, but I shouldn't have to sink all that time into another full run of the game just to get like 3 random items I may have missed or an armor set I couldn't get due to a choice quest like Sellen v. Jerren. I have a level 200 character I am running the DLC with and he is just a straight legit singeplayer run, but if I want to do pvp at different levels (125, 137, 150, 200+) and I want different builds and setups, it is perfectly fine for me to use cheat engines to do so as opposed to doing full runs of the game, NG+ and countless hours farming.

I've put in over 800 hours since launch (I know, I know, that's probably some rookie numbers to some of you). Spent atleast half of that making new builds, grabbing all the weapons, armor, aow, using patches emporium on reddit for mats and an extra weapon or two for some power stancing. Glad I found this video man, you were such a huge help. I was always wondering how in the hell youtubers were uploading new build videos almost daily lmao. Part of me thought they had someone making builds for them by gathering and muling in the earlier days lmao. Anyway, thanks again. An alternate & console-friendly method is to complete a full collection playthrough with no leveling or upgrades, *The Way Miyazaki Intended*. Once complete, backup save, and restore save-scum when you want to change builds. This has been my initial method for DS3, BB, & ER, but does not solve the optimal base class problem of this videos motivation.

Did it twice for prophet and astrologer but it burns you out of the game so quickly, the first time took over 100 h and if you want a optimized build for Str you need to do it with the vagabond class as well. I just wish you could change the starting class with a lava tear it would be so practical. The game ist just to big to make lots of perfectly optimal builds.

Best to do this on a Vagabond as that starting class is optimal for a ton of builds. Stop at SL 125 or 137 or 150 up to you and use the patches subreddit to trade for the things you need on a new build.

This video should warn people that UCET will flag your save, and you will instantly/constantly receive the 180 day ban until the cheated saves are deleted. They can detect script changes, which is what the cheat table does. Some weapons and items are also booby trapped, like Golden and Larval Tears, and large amounts of runes with low kill count will also flag the save. However, the cheat table is safe to use with the Seamless Co-op mod, since seamless creates a separate save.

Never had such an issue, maybe you did something wrong during the cheat. There are event flags for activating cheat like, getting torrent and other sorts. Follow tutorial exactly you’ll be good

no it doesnt, your save gets flagged only if you give yourself items that you are not supposed to have, or if you change your character values for example with CE. Basically, if everything on your save can be acquired legitimally, then you won't get flagged, and even some things that shouldn't be possible are not flagged (I messed up a save file by deleting Rold's medaillon by accident, and added it again but it wouldn't work so its a weird item, and I did not get flagged and can still play online).

It's safe to change your starting class, but you have to be VERY VERY CAREFUL that all your stats line up 100% right. Probably better to just make a new build for safety tbh.

@@MeAmSmart Figure out the stat spread you want with the new class, edit the class (IIRC it's in the Hero section), and edit the stats to match. But if you're off by even 1 level or don't set the class correctly it's ban city. Again, wouldn't recommend it unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Easy way is to respec normally with a larval tear so that your stats are above the starting values for both classes, then change the class, then finally respec normally again to the actual build you want.

Instead of starting new game you could just clone your main character savefile a bunch of times, change starting class on each clone as you wish and adjust levels so they sum up properly according to new starting class

@@ayhamabusaa1187 it works for me now. I had to do this a few times before it worked but seems to function consistently now. Without the game open load cheat engine, apply the cheat table, close cheat engine. Open the game and wait until your character save is loaded into the game. Then open cheat engie using the executable made when you apply the table. DO NOT open the original CE executable.

Thank you Steel, great video, pretty much all PvP content creators use this to have +10/+25 of every weapon and every armor etc. but act oblivious or don’t mention how they have 5 of everything. Many other casual players try to collect and farm the items “honestly” for PvP purposes and spend hours, whereas the people who inspired the casual players to try PvP almost always creates builds with cheat engine, unfortunately due to silly system of Fromsoft. It’s not wrong to create builds like this, but nobody mentions or teaches this like you do.

This works great, and you've definitely gotten a like from me. A couple of questions though. #1: I added all bonfires as you did in the video, however when traveling to Leyndell to unlock the colosseum there -- I noticed that I traveled to a certain bonfire and some continuity errors happen. One example is when I traveled to a bonfire in Leyndell it was The Ashen Capitol even though I had not burned the erdtree yet. I haven't had any issues yet but will accidentally traveling to a certain bonfire break the game? #2: Can I safely spawn Larval Tears in?

@@michaelr5361 I bought up to 99 Larval Tears on multiple characters via the Grand Merchant mod and it all works fine for me. Dont know if there is any difference if you use Cheat Engine but since the game allows you to hold 99 of them it shouldnt be an issue.

Dark Souls 3 also has a quick way to make a build - without CE of course - called Honest Merchant (which I am certain MOST people in the comments here are familiar with), it is by far very useful without going through all the struggle to get the necessary items/weapons/gems/fashion/rings/souls/levels as a few simple select gestures/taunts can open the respective shop for said items to help finalize your build of choice, and then it's just a matter of AI invaders, killing bosses from Vordt to the Soul of Cinder, and complete DLC 1 and 2.

@@DMSBrian24 you can always unplug your pc, boot the game with mod active, get what you want, close game, deactivate mod, go back online and you’re golden EAC doesn’t check for consumables, talismans, armor/weapon etc. Just make sure to not get quest items or items that are normally unobtainable

CE was still superior. It's one thing to spawn anything you want with a single click, and another to run towards Firelink exit, wait for the Fog Wall and then search through what you need mindlessly. It was more noob friendly for sure.

Go to Gatefront Ruins location, kill all the guards and wolves, there is a chest in a hidden cellar. It contains an ash of war and whetstone knife. Get it, then go to nearest site of grace.

Having the whetstone/whetblades issue as well. Clicking 'unlock all whetblades' option unlocks the upgrades whetblades give you, but they don't show up in inventory. Also can't pick them up myself because they aren't appearing in the locations. Wondering if there is some event flag/trigger I missed

What I want to do is to create optimal builds using different starting classes for PVP purposes, without having to go through hours and hours of gameplay. That’s my main issue. I.e. my RL 80 Prophet to a RL 80 Astrologer for example, so better stat distribution for a specific build (i.e. Mage Blade build). I don’t want to have to create a new character, unlock all the map pieces and sites of grace, get all the sacred tears and golden seeds, incantations and spells, just to play a different build for PVP purposes. Hope that better explains why I asked whether or not the Cheat engine in the video is available on console.

Is there any way to unlock the Colosseums via the event flags? I currently have 5 seperate save files (each 10 characters) for PvP and am still making more. While it only takes 5 minutes to unlock the three colosseums with all Graces unlocked, it's still tedious to do it every time I make a new build.

No in fact he just won a tournament with a characters made using these methods. The trick is, he does not do anything you cannot do in game. He does not give himself 99 of each stat but his level stay at 125 so he can demolish everything. He doesn't give himself god mode, or anything you cannot actually do in game with time and effort. ITs just saving time building different characters and such for trial or for videos, ect ect. Hes not "exploiting" just saving time. Some may see this itself as an "exploit" because it takes you forever to farm such and such items to have so many to use in pvp... but ultimately, you can just go get the stuff..

When the players cant play a game as it's meant to play then they should stop. The Pvp Scene on PC should reward they who lootet their stuff by their own. The problem would be solved if From would make some kind of state inside which you have everything unlocked and could make a character for pvp only. So it would be fair for everyone, fun, and wouldn't collide with characters made legitimately.
