Love the velcro usage in my setup, we velcro stubby holders and lighters. We got some knives from big W that have there own cover which doubles as a sharpener. We velcro the cover so the knives slide in and out. For spices we have some some round containers and screwed the lid to the top of pantry, so to get it out you just unscrew it. We have about 12 of them lol

Good tips! We have one of those knives with the sharpener cover too, it's great.

I have posted this idea on another site but here is one. For your "which key" dilemma. Put different coloured cable ties or a combination on the lock and corresponding key. For locks and or keys where that's not practicable nail polish. Different colours of course.

Good job guy’s some nice tips. When u pour the boiling water on the side of the gas bottle, u dont need to touch it, u can just wait a few seconds and watch where the water vapourises off to quickly which is the liquid gas height inside, as the water will not vaporise off the cylinder below the gas level for awhile because the gas inside removes the heat from that portion of the gas bottle, an oldie and a goodie. Cheers

Instead of stuffin about with tie down ropes and pegs for my awning I just use some longish stakes and drive them in right next to the awning poles and just duct tape around them both. No lines to trip over 👍 and strong as.

Funny vid guys :) Velcro is awesome - have a spare lighter on hand and stick it on your carpet. I use small square tubs for the larger amount of spices I'd use more of. Another cheap-ish item is velcro netting. Holds things like cables, light packets and items.

any suggestions for transporting cooking oil? I've had one of the small bottles of olive oil lid come off and make a mess everywhere recently!
@explorebound2 жыл бұрын
Yikes bet that was a pain to clean up! We just transport oil in the original glass bottle, but it's the type with a secure metal screw on lid.

Try a decor spray bottle. Like 10 bucks from woolies and u use far less oil, so the bottle filled before heading away lasts ages.

There is a mister cooking oil spray in metal that we use. Also, Nalgene makes a food grade bottle that will not leak and can be used with cooking oils.
