Yes, My fish tank only had been exposing to sunlight on 3-hour every day. ( with fish tank have a glass) If you have the fish tank without a glass ( make by cement) and have a lot of duckweed plants, I think the sunlight, not a big deal anymore

Sunlight is really there, but within 3-4 hours. Because I put the aquarium below the roof. I use the water in the aquarium to water the flowers. And replenish water to the aquarium every day again.
