Would this work with a slower setting gel super glue instead of the 5 minute epoxy?

Hey Chris another great video, you have a natural ability and desire to teach. I get alot of value and enjoyment from watching your videos. I need to ask a favor would you be so kind and tie the original stu apte tarpon fly? appreciate your consideration and stay curious. thank you.

Jake, do you know Stu? Your request just made me curious? I have tied them for him in the past to use in his videos.

Hey Chris I have met Stu a couple of times at fly fishing events in south Florida where we both live and I have been a fan of his since I was a kid. I did read somewhere that you did tie flies for him which ultimately led me to your channel and have enjoyed your content ever since! I now have seen your tying skills so I had to kindly ask!

Are you painting these high density foam heads? What with?
@chrismihulka-nwfishingstuf38524 жыл бұрын
They can be painted with any acrylic paint like Createx, either with a regular brush or airbrush. They then need to be coated with a water based clear coat like Component Systems Lure Coat to preserve the paint.

Do they float underwater like suspended off the sand?
@chrismihulka-nwfishingstuf38522 жыл бұрын
They will remain in the surface, unless you do some creative weight addition.
@dirkdiggler24302 жыл бұрын
@@chrismihulka-nwfishingstuf3852 no, I actually want them floating. Thank you for the 411.
