Thanks for the video Edward. I’ve looked for a video like this for long time but was unable to find one showing how to flesh & board a cat & was the reason I’ve not targeted cats. Now I can! Thanks again for the great video

Hey Ed, thought maybe I would mention that its not called the Arizona stretch, its called the Nevada stretch. Cant remember the guy's name off hand, but he is from Nevada.
@edwardschneider27163 жыл бұрын
I am sorry I failed this terminology! I'm sure you are correct and for all of the Nevada trappers out there please accept my apology. I appreciate the correction. Unfortunately I just created a new term. Lol

Hey Ed, I don’t have a garage or room that I could maintain temps and air flow as you do, so I was wondering how an uninsulated outbuilding affects this. When some nights it dips below freezing and some days are warm etc. Should I find somewhere more easily to maintain for the sake of keeping fur prime? Are there negative effects? Thank you for the in depth videos!
@edwardschneider27162 жыл бұрын
The biggest thing to help you is prevent the hide from freezing before its dry. I use to flesh outside and bring my stretchers into my mud room when I first began.

@@edwardschneider2716 awesome thank you, I’ll see what I can do about getting a little heater to allow stuff to dry without freezing
