This song really hit me today. My grandma passed away from cancer 1 month ago. Yesterday we remembered my grandma and put her ashes I the urn and told our favorite stories of her. When It was my grandpa's turn he broke down crying and said that the first Christmas together she had to go home to her parents unexpectedly and she sent him a letter that said even though we are apart I am with you. I love you. And choking on tears he said "I hadn't even kissed her yet" they have been married for 53 years and that is one of his favorite memories. She was worth the wait.

I don’t know if you are a Christian or not Abby but from this song, it sounds like it! I love how pure it is! The Bible says we are to save ourselves for marriage and most songs nowadays promote the opposite and it’s really sad, but your song showcases how it should be! We should wait. If you think it is the right thing for you to wait that's good for you and its great that you figured that out, but please don't say that that is the one right thing to do. It is NOT. It might be right for you, but it certainly doesn't have to be right for everyone. Its brave to say your opinion,but please don't make other people feel bad,just cuz they figured that they don't wanna wait with everything till marriage. I didn't and dies it make me a bad person, did I do anything wrong? No,because it felt right to me and it still does, even though it wasn't perfect. If you wanna see it that strikt than yes,it is probably wrong, but there are lots of parts in the bible that say things that most people,if not all, don't follow anymore,because it is just not timely. Does that make us all bad people who are doing the wrong thing, I believe not. You can just see it from the Christian and god perspective and say they are doing the wrong thing. You believe in god,right? So deep in your heart you know that god is real and that he exists. Would you like people, who dont believe in god but maybe something else, to be open-minded and accept your opinion and don't say it is wrong or right, like they say Jesus was?
