I just wanted you to know that I love the way your videos are straightforward, informative and really easy to understand/follow. I started learning R a few weeks ago, I already watched a few basic videos and I'm studying from the R for Data Science book, but I find your videos to be top notch. So much so that I subscribed, which is something I very rarely do, and I cannot wait to see more. I really hope you'll be uploading more content like this!!!

I've been using mostly using ggplot and I wanted to check out the possibilities of plotly for my first shiny app, so thanks for the quick insight!

Thanks, would love a video on how to upload interactive graphs to web-pages/blogs.

I'll definitely try to cover this in a future video!

@@dataslice I second this - how would you go about sharing these graphs with end users or decision makers who have minimal technology skills but are interested in the data ?
@dataslice4 жыл бұрын
@@trustparadox I think the easiest way would be using an R Notebook to generate an HTML file of your graphs and whatever qualitative analysis/writeup you want. Then you just need to find a site that can host your file (GitHub has free static web hosting if you search 'GitHub pages'), upload it, and share it

Nice explanation! I recommend picking colors in the future that are color blindness compliant for your graphs, the red/yellow/green dots for rocket launch by cost could be hard to discriminate

That’s a really great point, I will definitely keep that in mind for future videos!

great work! can we embed these interactive GGPLOTS with reactive functions in Shiny? Will pass around in my lab.

Yes I believe you can but I’ll need to do some testing. Let me know if you figure it out!

Subbed... Awesome video sir... Is there any functionality which adds scroll bar horizontally on the graph? I have long string of acceleration data which i need to display all at once and scroll it horizontally to view the graph... Thanks😉

How do you modify more than one element in the content of the tooltip? I tried to add another label in the text aesthetic, but it ends up in the same row. Is there another function similar to "paste0" that adds elements in different rows?

Thanks, that was really good demonstration in a short period of time and especially how to embed th interactive plots at a different location. Do you know how to make simple interactive scatter plots or bubble plots with time series data in R?

Hi Bro, Can we bring live data from SQL DB or any Data base to Plotly Jupyter Notebook and to create various visuals? Is there possibility?

Why did colors on the second plot changed after you saved it as html and opened it in Chrome?

I love R but it's still a young language so the kind of bugs that you encountered are so annoying
