All you did is polish the needle and seal the nozzle with wax. And there is no before after performance test.

Beeswax works great with sealing the airbrush and replacing the rubber gaskets that may break down with solvents and harsh chemicals

Posible sa ibang airbrush. Magagawa mo yun kung may inooffer yung seller ng parts ng same brand at model. Kase pati needle cap papalitan mo din. Bale 3, needle, nozzle, at nozzle cap.

I do about the same with my airbrushes. Except, I have a drill press that I use. The press allows me to have both hands free to do whatever with the needle. As long as one is careful, I think it would be hard to mess up with either method. I like the use of the grease, too. I use beeswax, but; it appears that the grease may be a little easier to apply. Cool!

Pwedeng pwede po. Gravity feed po yan nasa top ang cup, pwede din po yung side feed. Merong mga nabibili sa shopee or lazada na mga stencil para sa nail art. Ask lang po kayo kung may need kayong malaman baka may idea ako.

Hindi naman gaganda talaga, pero mas bawas yung lilinisin mo yung tip dry kase dumudulas yung natutuyong paint sa pinaka tulis ng needle, usually ramdam sa 40psi pataas. Minsan tumatalsik kusa nabuong (maliliit na tuyong) paint. Pero dapat maiwasan ipolish yung part na papuntang tulis, kase pag yun may kaunting oil or metal polish, parang nare repel yung paint, di tumutuloy sa dulo. Hirap i explain, pero sana matandaan mo na ang ipapolish lang yung pinaka tulis. Or para walang risk wag na ipolish. Ako kase automatic na sa akin mag kurot ng cotton para alisin tip dry. Wala ng kaibahan sa akin kung naka polish o hindi

It is extremely dangerous if the needle bends in the drill, it fans out, the rpm is critical. You have to know what you are doing.

No, you can do this to any airbrush if needed. But usually branded airbrush are already tested and works on its top performance out of the box.

Thank you for sharing such a handy tutorial, I will definitely be polishing my needles. I don't know if I'm telling you something that you already know. The rubber cap's that are used to encase the needles on the end of the plastic tubes are PERFECT to use on the end of the Airbrush to give extra protection to the newly polished needle whilst in the airgun when stored away. Just tape up one side of the plastic tube and use the cap over the crown cap on your airbrush.

Be cautious. Remember to only polish the very tip. Maybe 1cm only. But if you messed up, just sand it in 1000 or higher grit sandpaper, but by finger rolling the needle not by electric drill.

It's the 180 model. I think I'll go with the black airbrush out of the box. But if you know how to tweak an airbrush, 180 model will perform the same but it's cheaper.

Nice demonstration but what type of polishing compound do you prefer to use? There are some home cleaning ones advertised for metal and stainless steel, ceramic and even finer ones for glass cook tops that are easy to find. Then there are more specialized automotive and jewelry polishing compounds all the way up to a polishing rouge and leather strop woodworkers use to polish a extremely fine edge on chisels and hand planes. I mostly curious about what a good polishing grit or compound is best to start with and if you ever use progressively finer grits?

Sorry for the late reply. It's just a simple polishing cream. Used for furniture. To be honest, I do not know about anything else aside from what I am using. I think if the polishing agent is making a stainless metal to shine, it will be useful.

No, that will damage the nozzle.

Yes, if you know how to tweak an airbrush it will spray as good as any other good airbrush. Lubricate the trigger, polish the needle. But the black coating is not so durable. I've seen mine has already many tiny spots on the handle.
