The easier way you can do is: 1. Onion ginger garlic make a paste and cook direct in the cooker, as it leaves oil add all the spices. 2. Add diced tomatoes or paste as per liking, let it cook without covering for few min while you can prepare other stuff or do other things 3. Add pander and peas and just water. Give it a stir or two. Close lid and whistle once. Paneer will absorb all the spices and leave oil for the gravy. And everything is cooked. No need to open and smash again and again or wait for cooker to open. And with this way in cooker you don't need that much oil. Been cooking like this for 10-12 years since I started job and never cooked other way. This waiting for cooker to open and close is just time consuming. While my masala or paste is cooking. I do atta for chapatis. And put up rice intermittently. And side by side my tea also cooks. By the end if it. I have rice, tea, paneer and atta done. I sit sip tea and then enjoy everything. And later when ready to eat I make my chapati. Pro tip. Make raw chapati.. 1. Get butter paper and separate each roti put in freezer immediately in an air tight container or ziplock bag. 2. In mng take out and let it sit for 10 min. It will be little soggy but remove only one side of butter paper with other side in your hand put on pan. Voila roti no need to make atta every time. Do it on weekend twice or thrice and you are set for 2-3 days. You can make parantha like this. I never comment for these things. But remember garlic raw flavour will sour taste if not cooked properly and boiling it will fill the house up with very foul smell. Better paste everything together and cook while you prepare everything else. You are not ready for boiling smell of. Onions and garlic.
