If you confident you know where the enemies are at and you can aim I dont see the need for Nightwatcher. Can fill that with a Chill Out mask for the additional Mod slot. Or maybe even through in the Deathgrips gloves for some nice armor on kill.

Tried it out and even at low shd lvl I do feel like a tank now compared to other builds, although I noticed that the weapon damage is also high with this build which is cool 👌

For the main weapon, for pve at least. I'd use the RPK LMG and the contractors gloves, because you can put the laser pointer on it and benefit from the 15% LMG dmg from the gear set and 15% LMG dmg from the gloves 👌🏼

Interesting suggestion! I considered using the GR9 Dare (with its Perfect Flatline) despite it only having the short under barrel slot since I constantly pulse but will definitely take a look at the RPK.

Very fun build! After some testing (solo PvE, Heroic) in summit, open world, invaded missions and bounties I must say it's one of the most fun alternative builds I've tried. I replaced the Uzina Getica piece with a Picaro holster so essentially trading the last 5% armor for a red core/15% weapon damage despite the strict instructions to leave it as it is.. XD I also consider re-rolling one Skill Haste to armor regen, for those open spaces so you can hide in cover for a bit if advancing eats too much armor/you're out of range to build new Heartbreaker stacks.

I've made this build and used it in Countdown. It's so easy to kill the hunters there with your stacks up. The only 2 differences I've made with this, is cause I'm playing on pc. Use the Kingbreaker ar as primary with the linked laser pointer and the secondary rocknroll also with that. It also helps out your teammates cause the enemies get pulsed when you aim at them. And sometimes the 5 seconds cool down is taking too long in the heat of a battle hehe.

I tried this build just now! I'm loving the fact that I can face tank on heroic! I switched the talent of the vector to close & personal. You get 30% weapon damage within 7m which is better than the flatline. It works since you're already face tanking anything and you still get the benefits of the 4 sec pulse skill.

Ok. I have been trying this out for a bit in open and I like it. Here's a couple comments. You have to use the vector. There's just no way around it. You think you want that ar+15 but unless they make an AR with 1200 rpm that isn't an option. You need to be spamming hits on a pulsed target. Which brings me to: having unlimited pulse on demand is pretty great. The haste rate is a bit high and it probably could be tuned down for more crit hit chance, which is another reason you can't use ARs because you otherwise have way too low crit. Otherwise pretty good, very good bonus armour in the open

Anything over 100% SH is really not necessary, the returns of being over 100% just don't make sense. You could run around 85% SH with little impact to the returns. Allowing you to drop another 2 mods into CHD for an extra 24% CHD.

Linked lasers can only pulse when aimed at. Scanner has a much bigger radius and duration.

So going with skill haste, would it not be better to go with crit change/dmg to get that dmg up more? Or even prot from elites mod? Because with the nightwatcher you will have a 11s duration of the pulse and a 9s cooldown anyways. Or am i missing something?

This CONCEPT is spot on. But might be redundant. Just trying to help here, not disrespect bc I love your content. And someone correct me if I'm off....but running pulse laser on both weapons...AND using a pulse skill requiring haste for that skill is the same yeah? If you're pulsing any enemy you aim, why not remove the skill haste mods/ swap mask for Coyotes/ and mix in red and blue cores and go nuts!?

​@sneidsontheroad I feel like the stims from the hive is a big boost for his dmg, so keeping that cooldown as low as possible is vital. Although yes having red attributes and cores are going to push up your damage, what I think he built is what works for his playstyle. But you can definitely transition this to he a tank/crit build by swapping to coyotes mask and having red attributes.

how did that guy kill you shooting into air? happens to me all the time, peoole are shooting me when I am hidden behind walls, when I am behind them, Kataris all of the sudden does not work. steeling my Submission while I make the npc's and I can not become rouge even after having presst the T key for 30 seconds. A countdown comes up counting from 100% down to 0 and than up to hundert and while that one can not become rouge to kill the steeler. after the steeler is gone, becoming rouge works again and that stupid counter works as ridiculus as always. I start nit liking the division 2 DZ anymore, I think I will get hacks and cheats to be able to fight fire with fire.

Nice build! Anybody know why when I play conflict my character will not turn left at all? Tried 3 different controllers to rule that out.
