My learnings from the Olympics 2024 1. Manu Bhaker said she took inspiration from Gita, focused only on her efforts (karma) and not the outcome of it. 2. Simone Biles faced a lot of criticism for her loss at Tokyo. But she showed us the power of resilience, grit, calmness and patience. She won 4 medals in this Olympics and shut the mouth of haters. :) 3. Carlos won the Wimbledon final by beating Djokovic in July. But we saw how quickly Djokovic bounced back in 2 weeks and got the Olympic gold this time beating him in the final!!!!! So, setbacks are key to comebacks if we have the guts/ determination and passion (internal motivation) for the game. 4. Vinesh Phogat defeated Susaki (the reigning world no 1, Tokyo gold medalist) in the semifinal. So if someone focuses on her game, it doesn't matter how colossal one's opponent is. 5. A few heartbreaks also show us that early celebration/ anticipation about the desired result sometimes ruins everything.😢 Patience is the key again. :) Slow, steady and silent wins the race. :D
