This is my dream update: A better selling horses feature! -You could sell your horses to other players. -You get to pick the price (for example let’s say you are selling a level fifteen quarter horse. You might want to make it 1000 star coins since it is maxed) -you could write a description saying like “dream catcher is a 12 year old hunter jumper mare that would be a perfect match for a beginner rider” or something like that -if you are looking for a horse to buy, you could filter them like cost, level, breed, etc. What do you think of this idea?

I already commented this on Instagram but what the hell I'll do it again: I'd love if we would be able to tame wild horses. You'd have to pay a small amount of SC (let's say 50% to 60% of the price of that horse) to be able to tame it in the wild. Once you did, you'd have to work with your horse every day to make it rideable, since you have to actually tame it and make it listen to you. It sounds like a fun concept to me.

Apoa's Demon kinda like the concept with the foals, each day you would have some “quests or task” to heal or (tame) the horse! Once you do it until a bar is filled it’s tamed and you can decided to pay the star coins or set it free

finally, a fair idea for both us players and sso. if you lowered the price down to, let's say, 30%, it can make sso lose money from the lack of purchases. and if sso made the price higher, it also wouldn't be fair for the players.

It reminds me of the time I was a noob, I started playing just when south hoof came out and I actually thought the Welsh ponies that u see running around are tamable I was so disappointed when I got there eventually😂

I think that people who have played lifetime deserve a bit more then we get, and for the price that SSO is asking for. I mean, not by much, but for example, people with lifetime should get 130-star coins or 100-star coins + 200 Jorvik shillings. Or even a lifetime riders only event would be cool. Another idea that could be cool is if we could have our friends ride our horses or borrow them, and you either had to be near the horse/person or give them a certain amount of time to have the horse (also it would be REALLY cool if people could have to pay for time on your horse, like you are having a schooling lesson or something like that). Okay, someone commented about a wild horse taming comment and I think that's really cool, but it would be even cooler if you would show the horse, the horse would go up in value, and its 'wild' traits would go away and change into something different. (goes with selling/trading horses as well). Last one: I think sso should add jobs. For example, you could be a horse trainer, horse capturer, trainer for kids, stable girl, or even 'normal jobs' such as barista or an employee of some kind. Overall, I think star stable should just make their game more realistic and more fun for people that have finished quests and really don't have much to do. Great vid!

I want sso to add a few more features when buying a horse where you can: -Test ride them, if you don't own the breed; You would be put into a round pen, with a few jumps, so you could test out the different gates when jumping, and just walking around, plus you could equip your own tack so that you could see how it looked. I know this would help me alot because I still have quite a few breeds that I don't own yet... -Have 24h to return the horse This would be nice if you could return the horse (and get your star coins back) if it was within the 24h time period. I personally would use this actually alot.. I have alot of horses that I have bought and within minutes started to dislike because of the color or gates.. The feature would work by you clicking the horses um (Idk what it is called) character sheet, and if it was under 24h that you bought the horse, you could click a button that said "Return horse for (amount paid) SC". (Idk if these would help anyone else but they'd help me alot..)

See its a good idea. But if I know players (some, not all) they will ride it for bragging rights. Then return it for no reason. I think they shouldn't be able to return it. But the test ride is a good idea. Limit to like 10 or 15 minutes in a round pen with jumps like you said. But the whole return a horse wouldnt be needed if your test riding a horse for its gates and jumps etc. Cause then thats plenty of time to look at the horse and see if you really want it. For all I know you could ride it around jorvik (only you would see it at that horse, other players would just see you riding on your normal horse you have selected) this way you can see the environment and how it feels to ride it in general. I find this a wayyy better idea.

I think that realism is what we need. By that I don’t mean less magic or quests etc. What I mean is that I think we should be able to ride, train and work with our horses more like in real life. It would be the same game but add more opportunities to realistic roleplay etc. Here’s some ideas. When you buy a horse you could choose the personality (like you said, just that you choose which Personality.) You could choose easily spooked, afraid of jumping, afraid of water, hot, lazy, curious, loves eating, good at dressage, gets easily bored and mischievous + many more personalities to make your horse individual. Maybe you could choose from 5-12 personalities. You could choose the age and birth, the horse would age +1 year after one year. You cannot buy a horse that’s really good at jumping, cross country or dressage (imagine dressage exist and you could compete in dressage as in real life, the same with cross country and show jumping) you need to train the horse so it could perform good, if you don’t buy a horse from another player (which I’ll come to later.) The horse would have stats, which is the potential of the horse. All the breeds would have its own stats. Maybe a Lusitanio would have +9 in dressage and a mustang +2. The stats would heighten the more you train the horse in the different disciplines, when you buy the horse it would have its own unique stats. Imagine training a horse to a good competition horse and start competing in realistic championships.😍 When you buy a horse you need to name the horse, you’d have more realistic name opportunities, maybe you want your horse to be named your characters last name in front of the “real name” if you know what I mean, here’s an example: “Firepaws Foxtrotter.” Then you could sell your horse to another player and the horse would be named after the first owner. If you’re tired of trainer horses you could buy a good trained horse from another player, the more the horse is trained the more the horse will cost, which means it would me more expensive than buying a horse from level 1. You wouldn’t be able to change the name or the personality, though you could train the bad habits. Not only training a horse would be more realistic, you’d have to take care of the horse and give it food, put it in the paddock etc. But you could hire people to take care of the horses if you want to. Seasons and weather would add sooo much realism and fun! The weather would change after season. Maybe it would rain and thunder much in fall, and snow in the winters. There’d be a button you could click on to show the months weather prognosis. In fall the trees would get orange, it would be a process like in real life, so the seasons would change slowly. Imagine going swimming with your horse in the summers, and maybe riding out in a cold fall-day! Some horses would freeze in the paddock and inside, so you’d need to put a cozy and warm blanket on if you want to. Maybe the Arabian horses would easier freeze than the Icelandic horses. Of course you’d be able to take off the horse personality thing, weather and seasons if it was annoying during a club event or maybe quests. I think sso should do a jumping meter. For example we could train our horses to jump a certain height. (There will obvz be a limit) In my opinion, the horses over jump everything so sso could do like a little green space right before the jump, located on the ground, which tells us when to jump and we would have like a little bar on the bottom or side of the screen with a green arrow so we could control how far and high we jump. I also think that sso should allow us to actually have like a visible paddock where our horses could interact with one another for example some horses could have a strong bond and some dislike each other and so on. ALSO, I think it would be AMAZING if we could do liberty and take out multiple horse at a time (we would in ride one, unless we aren't riding any) like 2 horses or 3 max. It would make for such great pictures etc. What I mean by this is we could have a tail ride with max 3 horses and they would be attached in some sort of way. (idk how, maybe they could just follow you) I have more ideas but oh well. If you made it through I congratulate you😂😂

i have an idea for ppl who rp a lot in sso! it would prob be kinda hard.. So my idea is that (mainly for wild) ur horse can have emotions so u have buttons like u want ur horse to pin its ears (when they r very angry/wanting to attack) and u can have like 5-6 different emotions ur horse can do with its ears or buck/rear, and that ur horse can lie down perhaps, it would also be cool if r horses could trip or something like that and character could fall from r horses! :D

@@carolinabelle22 The idea in the video I think you're referring to is the one where you're horse would have a personality that could make it spooky, sassy, etc. But I'm pretty sure this person means that there would be emotes you can use for your horse, similar to the ones you can too with your character in chat (bow, thumbs up, etc) I hope that makes sense :)

I would love to see a give/trade function for clothes, tack, horses and even jorvik shillings and star coins. This is great! Since it's kind of late and I'm bored, I'll just add my opinion about each idea x3 Don't attack me plz. I love all the ideas and I'm not being against anybody, just throwing out even more ideas for future updates 1 - I completely agree! While the characters look fine, they lack customization. Plus, adding different heights would really make the game diverse and interesting! Being as tall as I am irl in game would be cool! 2 - I agree, once more. I never thought of keyboard combos, but adding that would be amazing and really interesting to try to do! 3 - While I really love the idea of horse emotions, getting random ones doesn't really settle with me well. For example, a racehorse being really spooky and shy, and/or curious. It'd be difficult to do champs with your horse doing it's "personality". I think it should be similar to the Sims, so when you buy a horse you get to pick 3 traits for free, but to change them later on you would have to pay a fee. Otherwise, I love this idea, too! 4 - no feedback here. the idea is genius 5 - This idea seems really cool as well, but I personally think there'd be different classes with a limit. For example, one class would be about 50-80 players? Then you'd compete with your class but then an overall winner would be determined from all the classes. The reason I think this is because of the LAGG it'd cause on servers with so many players in one place. 6 - For a lot of people, this would be amazing! I personally don't need it, since I have a recorder, however it'd be helpful for other players. 7 - yes. Please don't argue or attack :( This is just my opinion and I'll remove my comment if I have to. Other than that, amazing video, good ideas, and have a nice day everyone!

I think it would be fun if you could “invite” someone to ride your horse. Either when you’re riding it yourself or if they wanna try it out for a bit. Maybe you could switch horses with your friend for a certain amount of time. Anyways, LOVED all of your ideas! I really hope SSO would include updates like these.

I think that star stable should make it to where when you sell horses. You get your star coins back, and to where the pasture for the horses in your homestable, you can go through a door and go see all of them and they can like walk around and gallop around out there. I also want star stable to add like actions to the horses, Like they can do tricks, lay down, rear without you being on them. Like you can teach them, then add a button to click to where you can pull up the tricks and such.

I think it would be great if when you buy a horse you could choose personality yourself, and maybe even something like what food treat they like best. I know people also want to choose the horses gender, but I'm not so eager about this myself, as I think it's easier to just imagine what your horses gender is yourself.

I'm one of the veteran players, I started playing about after a month of SSO's release. And as a level 21 player or higher, you have virtually nothing to do other than do daily races, daily chores, help the hore market family (but we can't do that anymore can we), or on occasion, buying a new horse to level up. I for one have been wanting a large Dressage update for many years, and being able to customize our HS would be amazing, something tailored to my likings, or my biggest hope, my hope is that we can own wagons and carts and to have passengers if the couchman is willing to have, and to also add the male gender as a playable character, and believe it or not, there are some boys who play the game who really enjoy horses. :3

1 major thing I want star stable to add for Star Riders: There should be a small store with things for your home Stable. Some decorations like fairy lights that you could but on the roof of the home Stable or you could just put it on any wall (not in the shower area) and also for there to be different floorings that you could choose from like tiles, and different types of wood. Also different stall items, you could buy different buckets for the stall and again, decoration. Also, the place you choose to have your Stable at.. that changes the Stable a little bit, you can have the option to have it changed or to keep it the same. I also think that there should be like more things for your pets. Instead of keeping them in a closer you should can put them in crates or let them run around the Stable. Also maybe add 2 saddlebags. That means you can maybe put 2 pets on your horse and either have 1 of them run beside the horse or both. I agree with the dressage btw :D

Even breeding would be a great thing you could pay the vet and then you could breed your horse. And if you could even sell your horse to friend or for a gift! I like the idea of SSO adding three day events where you have to learn a dressage test, do a xc course and a showjumping course these could be based on your level or horse and could happen once a month or every two months. Also you would have a day to learn the dressage, also you are given a time which you have to be online at. They should make an arena or place dedicated to training and the event that everyone could access. (Btw ik she mentioned something similar like this in the video but I have actually been thinking about that idea for a long time)

Hey guys I asked star stable to add all of this but this is what I said Hello Star Stable, I have some more ideas for the game and I don’t wanna put you guys through a lot but I’m just here to say what I want you guys to add. 1. Thoroughbred racing with a starting gate and the track and maybe some changes to the thoroughbreds. Again not telling you guys to do it now but maybe soon. 2. Your horse has feelings like scared if the horse is scared it would start rearing and bucking. Also mad if your horse is agitated it would start pinning its ears and raising its head while rearing low. And if your horse is sassy and wants to show off maybe add this for the thoroughbreds and Arabians since they are both sassy horse breeds they would start showing the whites of their eyes and walking around with their head up tall. 3.Something for the Arabians and thoroughbreds. Let’s start with Arabians so maybe some Arabian halters and Arabian tack and the Arabian raises its tail when it wants to be sassy and it shows the whites of its eyes and it gives a sassy attitude. Now thoroughbreds they will give a lil dance while being walked to the starting gate and they will raise their heads up tall and stuff they will also show the whites of their eyes. 4. We can type what we wanna name our horse but no inappropriate words. But here’s and example if I wanna name my horse Almaa- Al-Jamil (which is an Arabic name for a horse) I would call him that and type it instead of players trying to find a name they can just type it. 5. Cross ties maybe some cross ties by where you wash your horse and there can be a tack room where you hang your tack up and your character can carry the tack and maybe add some half pads, also maybe some fly sheets. 6. When you tack up your horse maybe like make it actually look like your tacking up like start of with a saddle and your character places it there then the saddle then the way you put on a bridle you actually do it. Also when you hold your reins in English maybe make it look like that and western jus hold the reins with one hand. And add where your horse become stubborn sometimes and it stops and you guys should also add the kick and squeeze you know how you make your horse go and pull the reins to stop maybe add sitting trot also. And when you pull the reins the horse will open its mouth because of the bit you can choose how much you wanna pull the reins. Also add martingales and add genders for horses like Geldings, stallions, or mare 7. Can you guys add dressage and first person mode. 8. A unbroken horse you have to go through training with can you guys add that. 9. Can you guys also make some changes to the horses like maybe make them look like rdr 2 horses I’m not sayin copy em I’m just saying like something like that like I mean make them a lil more realistic and our characters should look more like people because not everybody is the same I love the way both horse and characters look but making them a little more realistic wouldn’t hurt much they are already perfect but just need to be a little more realistic. 10. You can sell horses to other players and buy horses from players. And you can chose the price of how much you would like to sell your horse. 11. Your horse will sweat if worked to hard. And your horse can lose stamina and if you work your horse to hard. And if you keep pushing it while it’s tired it’ll lower its head to the floor and it’s legs will start shaking and your horse will get white sweat. 12. Your character can pet the horse wherever and you can groom the horse wherever you want like it’s neck all over. You can pick all 4 of your horses hoofs. 13. Your horse will lose or gain weight. If you do not treat your horse properly it would get upset and won’t trust you. 14. You can own your own farm and have a lot of land and you keep your current home stable but it’ll be at your own farm you’ll have your own house and you can have an arena indoor and outdoor and a pasture. 15. If you own an Arabian or thoroughbred that becomes famous everybody who plays star stable will know you. If your thoroughbred wins a lot of races then it’ll become famous. Or if your Arabian is very good at breeding it’ll become famous or other horse breeds can become famous. 16. The map would be bigger and you should add more places for the player to buy land and the player can build their farm. 17. I’ve also noticed my reins goin through my horse maybe you can fix that. 18. Your horse will get dirty and if you let your horses out to pasture they can roll or run around and play with your other horses. 19. Your horse can be a stud and you can chose the stud fee for it. Your horse will have a height a thoroughbred would be very tall that’s it again take your time to make this.

They should make it less long and boring with reputation quests. I quit a while ago because it took me over a month to get from popular to admired with the gardeners at the manor. They could make it as simple as upping the number of reputation you get per daily.

My dream update would be to loan/lend horses! I tell my friends all the time I would gladly train their horses for them if I could. It would work like this: you click on a horse's profile, click a button that says "Loan horse", choose someone from your friend or club list, select how long they can have your horse for, and ta da! If you get the horse, you can tack it up with your own gear, train them, race them, take care if them, do everything with them like they were your own horse, except for selling them ofc. You could even keep them in your homestable, even when you log off. If the owner decides they want their horse back early, they can cancel the loan and get their horse back. Of course when the loan time is up they'd still get their horse back anyway. Another thing I would love is a gifting/trading system. Pretty self explanatory. Go to your mailbox, accept or decline trade requests, or gift things. I would like a gifting system and not just a trading system bc I have some non star rider friends that have very few good items and I don't want to force them to give it up if I want to give them something. And of course to prevent any "YoU sToLe My ThInG!!1!1!1!" There's be a disclaimer letting people know if they accept the trade they are agreeing to give that person and item permanently, meaning they won't and can't get it back unless it's regifted/traded back to them.

Most of these suggestions are already in Horse Isle 3. Also... Addressing 1:50 : Drafts can do dressage just as good or even better than warmbloods. Dressage is the outcome of how you train your horse, not what breeds are popular for the sport atm. Mules can also do dressage just as well or better. Dressage is for every breed, because it is the foundation for every single discipline in the equestrian world.

I think it would be amazing to have your own house where your charakter lives and the stable would be next to the house and there would be a big paddock / garden around it where your horses could run free and you could interracct with them. 1) First person point of view, where we see the perspective of the rider. 2) Build a jumping course, pole course, or other course in the empty side of the riding hall arena (left arena). If the player creates a course, only they will be able to see it; if a group member made a course, only the group members would be able to see it; if the club owner made a course, then the whole club could see the course. 3) Better rider position over the jump 4) This is more of a horse idea than a sso idea but when they recreate the Hanoverian, they put the walk and trot of a Hanoverian and the jump, canter, slow gallop, and gallop of the Connemara I would also like to see that they remake the Trakehner’s trot as it looks very unbalanced and wonky.

Just wanted to comment before I give an idea, thanks for adding the subtitles even tho you’re talking. I’m hard of hearing and sometimes, well the majority of the time, the KZbin Pre done subtitles are usually wrong. An idea I’ve had is competing for sc and js. Hear me out. So there would be say 5 rounds of a showjumping comp. win the first you get 100 js, win the second you get 500 js, win the third you get 1000 js, win the fourth you get 2500 js and if you win the fifth one you win 150 sc. if you loose any of the comps before winning number 5 you are disqualified for the day. You can do this comp once a day and each race has a higher level of difficulty. So for example it could be doing the race in a certain time or don’t hit any jumps or something like that. You would only be allowed a certain level horse for each race otherwise going through the first couple would be too easy. It’s an idea I got from another game in which you do something similar to win the in game currency. It isn’t a lot but it’s better than nothing and having the chance to do it every day could be interesting.

I'd love a desert/canyon area with a western town (and wild horses, of course). Like the Dino Valley, maybe certain breed would be better in this biome like the Arabian horse and the Akhal-Teke or any other heat-resistant breeds. The main town would be like in old western films and maybe add a ranch somewhere as a home stable.

i had an ideaaa soooo ima say it now som backstory: if we had a full map with ALL areas on jorvik like nordfield, central jorvik, pine hill forest, winterdale, you know what i mean. Imagine in central jorvik or nordfield there was: a pretty colonial show stable in central jorvik or northfield with beautiful fields, arenas, wild horses, mountains, lakes, rivers, pretty farms with story quests AND daily quests having to farm or pick crops for js. Maybe also there can be competitions? like a story quest where you try to win against one of the bobcats in a jumping competition?

I admire the enthusiams these players have and the imagination (though it’s really a given since the playerbase is quite young) but even if all these ideas are fully hypothetic, I don’t think a lot of you understand the level of game deveploment these things would require. Given that horses act and react differently would be a completely new mechanism that could easily clash with other features. This one I pulled out as an example and surely it would bring more reality into the game but devs usually go more on playability than realistics and what is worth and what is not worth implementing into the game. Sso does most of the time take their time to make one cool thing and release it in pieces to keep players keen for a long period but in the end we actually just got some new horse colors and one tack piece in different colors. This comment is not to hate just to maybe bring light to the fact that development is hard and long work and something that seems super cool would also be very hard to implement, so if it’s hard for you to figure out how to explain it, it is certainly hard to code into an actual feature.

We should be able to rescue horses -get them for the rescue center on south hoof -cheaper then regular horses -stats are unknown -rescue horses will have quirks ie. Spooks easily, dirty stopper -as you train them their quirks will either go away entirely or be less noticable

I love the competitions idea! (Though the thought of having a set time worries me) Not everyone can set a certain time for SSO. Many of us are not adults and possibly cannot be on Star Stable 24/7. I think the competitions would be great except for maybe instead of making a time SSO would have a feature like they do with daily racing. If you got to the competition by the end of the day you'd still be able to participate. What do you think?

What about a bonding meter with your horses? The more you ride it and spend time/care for it the better the horse will work with you.
