You should trace the pieces on foamboard closer together so you have left over foamboard pieces that don't have holes in the center of the piece. Just so you aren't wasting so much just for something as small as a dagger. Loved the video anyway c:

What about using a different medium for the bone part? Say plexieglass or colored plastic? Bolts can be easily done with a hole puncher and your choice of medium. Gives them substance that paint cant do.

Alright, so i get a lot of templates from you because you have good builds, as a matter of fact your skyrim deadric sword was the first prop i ever built; so thank you for showing me this wonderful world. However sometimes the scale them are made on is off. Please DON'T take this as an insult, it is constructive criticism. And a one prop builder to another i really suggest that you try EVA foam floor mats. I used to build everything, and i mean everything, out of foam board but now I am positively in love with this stuff. There is really only one down fall: it dulls your blade(s) like nobody business.

+Ziggy Laufeyson Well I am going to use EVA floor mats, of which you can buy at Walmart for $13(USD) and they come in a pack of 4. It took me awhile to find them but they are typically placed in a flooring/carpet isle. However to use this effectively you will need: a dremel or a rotary tool and a razor blade with replacement blade or a sharpener because this material dulls blades insanely quick. Good Luck!
