How to make the most of alliance trials
The key to scoring the highest is Patty! She will lock the rage of the monster for 4 turns. But here is the trick:
1. Include patty and a rage reducer like Sodoma or Edmund.
2. Light up both and do not set them off until the monster lights up
3. When the monster lights up, trigger Patty and the rage reducer. This will reduce the monster’s rage below what is required to attack, and then Patty will lock the rage there, giving you 4 bonus turns!
Now here is where things get really exciting.
4. You have 4 tries to light patty up again. If you do, wait until those 4 hits are over, then activate her again. (There is a little symbol by the monster with a number that tells you how many turns its rage is frozen for. When it disappears, you hit with Patty again.) You now have another 4 turns!
5. Keep repeating this until you can’t light up Patty during the next 4 turns.
Now here is my bonus tip! 2 heroes could get you extra on top of this.
Lylia - when she is triggered, she gets a few turns where she can’t be injured. If you wait to trigger her until Patty can’t be lit up anymore, you can get a few bonus on the end. I used to use her, but personally stopped because I found I can get way more points with:
Tala - when she is triggered, she gives full rage to a random hero. This means every time she is set off, there is a chance she could trigger Patty! And even if she doesn’t trigger Patty, you’re still getting to set off another hero for lots of extra points! I make sure that no other heroes are lit up before I trigger Tala. Otherwise she may give full rage to one of the heroes already lit up, and waste her power.
