Make the Most of Your Cardstock Scraps with Embossing Folders for cardmaking

I have some fun techniques to show you how to use up your scraps of cardstock by combining them with your embossing folders to create beautiful backgrounds for your cards. I'm using the embossing folder and 3D embossing folder of the month for March 2024 from ‪@spellbinders‬ for today's video, but you could use any that are in your collection.

Great cards! Here’s a tip to save specialty card stock. In the 1st card that uses gold metallic card stock, well, you could have taken the large matting layer and from that piece, cut out the arch and sentiment oval. Then still use it as the mat layer. The recipient will never know that other shapes were cut from it. In the end you would have saved yourself half the amount of gold card stock and gotten the exact same result. Happy crafting 😊
