for anyone wondendering, for a 7 inch bracelet, i used 4 ft of each and and had 1 ft left over for each

I was asking myself why we need a lot of cord and we got a lot of left overs. Thanks for that.

Instead of doing a cobra,left side -right side,I did two left sides,(the spiraling version),and then the S knot. Looks awesome. I tried continuous S knots too. It was pretty cool too.

I just watched and made my first Paralix bracelet....I love it! Your instruction videos are the only ones I watch because you make it easy to understand. I just started doing this about 2 weeks ago and it's been a lot of fun and everyone wants them....Keep the videos coming! Well, off to find another new pattern to learn.....:o)

Why you do not use a paracord jig? Its better when you have your 2 hands free for making the knots. I bought one and its easy for me as a beginer.But. I have problems when calculating the lenghts because of the buckles size. Thanks.

Loved the vid. I'm gonna make a silver blue paracord bracelet for my daughter in the air force. It resembles the air force logo. Liked and subbed.

I think this weave is really nice looking. I'm just wondering why you don't tuck the ends under the bracelet and burn it so the ends are unseen on the finished product. It looks so much nicer. Takes a bit longer to finish but worth it...

Ilove these tutorials, they´re very easy to follow. buti really wish you could tell the length of the bracelet, .and not only how muck cord u use. Makes it easier to count otu how much needed it doing other lengths.

A little late, but about 1 inch of bracelet equals 1 foot of cord, or so he says ^^

What are you using to fuse the ends of the paracord? I have been using a regular lighter and I have problems with it blackening my cords.

My wrist size is between 7 to 8 inches...if I'm making bracelets, how much paracord do I need?
@Dimetropteryx8 жыл бұрын
Depends entirely on the knots you use. If you make something like a wide trilobite, you're going to need a lot more cord than for eg. a simple solomon.

ok, for those of us new to this, it is NOT easy. getting tired of hearing you say that. kinda makes a person feel bad that they are having trouble with it. Please remember there will be newbies watching your instructions. I don't even know what a Solomon is!. just hope I can get the gist of it..it is very nice looking.
@audiebl489 жыл бұрын
The Solomon is just the 'official' name for the cobra knot.
@pattirichey37809 жыл бұрын
audiebl48 thanks, had no idea. mine didn't turn out exactly like this, still looks pretty kewl tho.. think I may stay with the Solomon for the rest of them

Patti Richey Hey Patti, Don't stress just take your time :) You'll get it. I just started a couple months ago. But thankfully Shawn has these awesome videos to help us make amazing bracelets. Practice makes perfect just keep going and you'll be amazed at how fast you'll start making excellent looking stuff. I have made about 12 different designs following these videos and each time I make a new one it looks better and better. Keep up the good work Shawn! Ty
@BoredParacord9 жыл бұрын
Patti, I understand there are many new people who watch my videos. Comparing this tie with all the others, this one is VERY easy. For people who are new, it may be difficult. My intention was to teach, not to knock you down. Sorry about that.

BoredParacord Im trying it again right now, it seems to be getting twisted, is it too tight or what? Last nite I whipped out 10 lanyards in less than an hour doing the cobra,, I will get this too!
