This brings back great memories of watching Jack back in the 80's and 90's! His enthusiasm and style of presenting are sorely missed. The last segment was particularly good. RIP Jack, I'll think of you as I "Keep Looking Up"!

I’m not from Florida, but, as a child, I used to go visit family, and whenever I was in my room,I’d always tune into Jack. The ;'ethereal' other-worldly quality of this music would relax me, and - though never an astronomy buff, per se,I did develop a life-long fascination with the cosmos, and everything in it. I don't know whoevertook over Mr Horkheimer's position, I only hope that whoeverit is imparts their own love of the heavens above on the open, learning, minds of today, just as Jack did for me, and many others. ⭐️⭐️✨🌟🤩

I used to rush home from school to catch this show after school everyday, I dreamt of becoming an astronomer because of this show, alas, it was not to be, but still have fond memories of this show.

I've got this VHS; should get it transferred to DVD. Glad it's on youtube. Just got a copy yesterday from Amazon of "Stargazing with Horkheimer - Cosmic Comics for the Sky Watcher:. Only $3.19, plus shipping, like new (mint) and autographed by the man himself! Don't forget Tomita's CD "Snowflakes Are Dancing" Debussy music which includes Arabesque No. 1, Jack's theme. Still available , I think. "Keep Looking Up!" Reminds me of last lines of "The Thing From Another World (1951): "Keep watching the skies. Look up!" Or something like that. Just about my favorite sci-fi movie, also "The Day the Earth Stood Still". 2001 wasn't too shabby either.
